i cut clones, for the first time mind you and i read something today that said after four days they are ready to go into the light from indirect light. is this so and can i just plant the cubes into my doil even though theres no root showing?
i have a four hundred watt high pressure sodium

Wait for roots.

I usually clone about six at a time. I use a clear tupperware storage container (flipped upside down so the lid is the floor for your girls). I leave the clones in there with a low wattage/lumen fluorescent light stick on it 24hrs/day. Once you see a few roots jetting out from your jiff pellet or whatever you're using you can transplant to your 5 gallon bucket. It's really easy, but usually takes about 2 - 3 weeks for me. I've also found that if you want to control the size of the plant, the clones will last 8 - 10 weeks in the tupperware before roots start to discolor and not grow a whole lot under the low powered lights

but they are not showing roots yet. how long do they actyally take? 2 weeks to show roots? i used rooting gel and a cclonex water solution. i mist em.a few times a day. is there a chance they wont root ay all? can i add more gel to the cube to help?
and i am new guys so im sorry about posting in the wrong section. its just that i figured people who really had a grasp and experiance would look here rather than 9 different answers,

i stop misting after 2 days. you want them to dry out a little so they will grow roots t find water. :weed:

sorry for being hard on you. i get pissy sometimes.

clones should always do fine if good amount of rooting gel is used and dirt around base of stem stays moist. spray 2-3 times daily with vitamins. styrafom cups or 4 inch pots. plants will grow slow untill root system increases. dont overwater. :leaf:

HAH I GOT ROOTS!!! thank god, a whole month of no signs of roots and viola, they are there. so i guess i wasnt over misting them. 2-3 times a day is perfect, took soooo long cause of the cold, im sure im goina have more faster success when i keep them warm.

if you really want to see how your clones are rooting ... put em in water next time.
2 weeks and you may see some roots out of there

sweetness. now im gonna stop looking every five frikkin minutes to see if roots are there yet. lol its been driving me crazy, will they live? will they die? hey they look great.....oh man whats that they look hurtin. thats me constantly. im not even gonna look at em for a week now. i went out and bought this four stage kit. it has a bottom bucket to hold water, then it has this thing to hold the rest up. theres a black mat that goes into and covers the water on each side to stop algea? i think? then theres a tray the cubes go into. i switched em to this system because you guys said i should get a tray. and now im hoping switching from the cubes i had em in to the cubes that came with the system they dont die on me......but even if they do. if i start over using this system and your advise, then im all set..........i hope. maybe this is one of those things ill never get down.
