can i mix cfls with hps? help plz

Hey guys I currently am growing two autos with a 250 watt hps my question is can I throw in 2 or 4 23watt 2700k cfls in there for even more light? I got a nice ac unit the same room my grow cabs in so I'm not worried about temp

hell yeah you can i would throw some 5000-6500k in there though plenty of red form the HPS. and if you can do 4 do 4

Obviously the more light the greater the yield.

The cfls go great down in lower part of plant. Ideal would be to hang them vertical in between the plants, not over them. 1 or 2 inches away from the plants, cfl loses light power real fast.

Yea but ii just gotta figure out how guys lol the hps takes up room
