can i lollipop

I'm doing a 250whps grow and I am 3 weeks into flowering. I've been reading about lollipopping and thinkinking about trying it out since the 250 ain't that powerful for the bottom part of the plant. Do you guys think its ok to lollipop it this far into grow and is it worth it. Cheers peeps.

3 weeks in is EXACTLY the time to do it, so congrats you nailed it.

lollipoppin is a great idea in general no matter what the wattage, its like taking the popcorn buds and placing them on your colas.

Need a pic of that plant to make a determination, but you're usually better off with short stocky growth under a 250w.

Thanks work2fish I am in the process of lollipopping as a write this. Can't help but feel I'm butchering them. What wanted ask you is hor close to the stalk do I cut it and can I carry on and cut off the extra fan leaves that are huge and basically getting in the way?

dont cut fan leaves off cuz they are "in the way", the fan leaves grow like that for a reason, the fan leaves are the most effecient and biggest energy makers. not the bud leafs.
