hey dood your gonna get root rotroot rot...
i've done hydro before. it's too high maintenance. I'm looking to grow so I can just........too bad you already filled it up. you could have thrown an air pump in the bottom under some hydroton. also it was said but use the lid it works perfect! i got 4 going in a tote right now hitting the stretch. shits gonna be DEEEEEZALLLLL lol good luck...what strains?
y?......................I still haven't had to water the plants since I posted this thread and gave them an initial watering.
good luck w thatAnother great thing about large pots with soil, is the ability to leave for days on end without watering even in hellish conditions. The water takes longer and longer to evaporate the more soil its contained within.
Why not just buy some 10 or 20 gallon smart pots that already have millions of micro drain holes in them? They are fairly cheap as well. Just my thought. Be safe and live life everyone.I'm having a heck of a time trying to find a drip tray for a 14 gallon rubbermaid container before I drill holes in it for drainage. The question is, what do drainage holes do other than allowing the extra water left in the catch tray to be absorbed over time? Can I get away without putting drainage holes in my rubbermaid and just let it thoroughly dry out in between waterings?
so far i'm having great luck. still no need to water!good luck w that
youre shooting yourself in the foot...........whats the plan water 3 times per grow? ...lol.......so far i'm having great luck. still no need to water!
