can i harvest lower buds if theyre done first?

like title says, will it hurt the rest if i cut off some or all of the lower buds and give the top more time (prob a week or so)? if i can, should i just cut at the main stem?

ya thats fine to do. but it doesnt make sense why the lower buds would be done first. unless your lights are underneath your plants.

nope its the same exact thing with me haha weird. Yea anyways as we speak i am getting my "darkroom" set-up because right before the lights go on i am taking prolly about 4-5 branches that are more mature (dont kno why) usually its the opposite but this is my one girl that is much larger. Anyways why does this happen..?? I looked at the trichs and everything, been following em for a while and they are good. I will be cutting the rest in a bout a week or so, so they are pretty close but yet the bottoms are a bit more ready. Pc

Usually I've heard of harvesting the top buds and cola first to allow more light to reach the lower bud sites so they can finish. It sounds like you are getting trigger happy. Wait the extra time to allow everything to finish and you will be happy with the end result.

lollipoping is when you cut off the lower 1/3 growth b4 the second week of 12/12... usually people cut this lower growth b4 their plants go into flowering.

Anything cut gives it's food to the rest of the plant...That's why I trim off a lot of leaves.

If you cut off the lower branches and concentrate the light on the upper buds, that will give the bud more quality ? How about the yield , Would you get more if you had many buds or couple of big ones?

Does this also work with a pure sativa? Alot less branches & leaves on my baby.

well whether it makes sense or not the bottom buds, pretty much everything but the top colas, are done but the hairs on top havent even started turning red yet. so take that for what you will, should i cut em off?

after you de-bud are you gonna regenerate it and harvest again? or are you cloning?

if the trichs look good... what color are the resin glands?

word man. Double check your buds, the trichs in particular and if they are to your standards go for it. I brought it by an veteran grower and said it does happen, and that when it is ready and you will know, go for it. So im on the same page as you, but i've been researchin the last 3 nights and plus by word of mouth so you'l be good bro. Good luck
