Can I flower outdoor clones in a tent for 12 hours??

I have 2 clones outdoor in 2 gal pots rn. I’m gonna have them in veg till she’s about 15inc tall. I was wondering when switch into flower, can I put them in a tent with just a small fan? I’ve read online to put tarp or something to cover the sun but I feel like that wouldn’t give it full darkness (night)

I don't see why not you say a tent? Why wouldn't the tent be dark at night when the lights are out is the tent not sealed and light tight?
