can i expect 40 pounds?

hey thanks allot for the responses guys, although they were mostly pessimistic, im glad i came here because sometimes pissimistic means realistic. so im goig seed shopping tommorow, anyone have any advice on which seeds will yield most? outdoors?

Though the mazar-i-sharifs that I mentioned...13 fecking feet tall man!

But plants that tall might be hard to hide...

haha lol the funny part is i am from the mazar-e-sharif part of afghanistan.
 
no you will not get 40 lbs from 30 seeds,you are dreaming if this is your first grow.

you would be better to get a female plant good genes, big yielder & grow her so you can clone 100 + babys from her,or get 5 mother plants and start at early spring and clone 50 + babys ever 3 weeks until early to mid summer and prepare to be busy.

but really if you want to grow shitloads of shit outside you have to start in the off season prepareing your holes digging them adding all the goodies and letting them sit until you are ready in the spring.

there are techniques out there so you dont have to grow a 15 foot plant to get a good yield from it

Seed shopping is fun!!! If height and space is unrestricted I stick with giant sativas. Durban poison will grow huge as well and has an awesome high!!
 
your from afghanistan thats cool please elaborate if you dont mind i would love to hear about that i like hearing the thoughts from people in different locales than my own. anyways what you want are simple land race strains then from there you could work on crosses and what not make a sick outdoor strain but thats down the road.
 
put ur expectations very low... then when u harvest... u get more then u thought, and therefore get happy... instead of high expectations and get disappointed

well i only lived in Afghanistan for the first 2 years of my life, but we had to leave the country do to the civil war and all, i currently reside in Canada, although it is my first time i wanted to plant some nice seeds this summer lol as always im hoping for a nice harvest (crossing my fingers)
 
im just gona say for your first op thats way too much to expect..believe it or not its a lot harder to grow top notch bud and lots of it at that. good luck with your first time though. youre gona have a good time

Disagree. If done properly, with such techniques as supercropping and tying the yops of your plants down you can yield a pound per plant. But seems its your first grow you should take it a learning step. You probably wont get what ya want but it is possible.

true, but its my first time, and according to my calculations i will need about a 100 plants to reach to 30 to 40 pound limit :)
 
if you plant over a hundred your looking at automatic minimum prison sentence. if this is your first grow i would not do very many at all. growing cannabis is easy growing good cannabis is more difficult.

you guys are completely right, but if i plant in small areas of 5-10 plants scattered kilometers away, i would get busted for 10 plants MAX. cause thats all i will be dealing with at a time, 5-10 plants.
