Can I dry from pot?

I’m going on vacation in 2 weeks for 5 days. I have plants growing in FFOF used dry amendments and teas the whole grow. I’d say the hairs are 50/50 orange/white. Also trichomes are a mix of cloudy and clear. I prefer like 10% amber. If I chop in a week or so I won’t be able to monitor the dry. If I chop now it’s too soon. If I wait till after vacation it may be too long. Is there a way to dry from the pot and get around this obstacle? Also can I give another tea?

It won't be over ripe when you return and the only trichs that matter are on buds not leaves

Dont even look at trich's till their are no more white hairs. Cloudy and amber trichs can be found early in flower

From the pot. I know how to dry. Don’t know how to dry when I can’t monitor the environment.

Getting there but I think another 2 weeks is OK. I'd say feed it before you leave and chop when you return, if they're ready.

It's still not ready.

I’m deciding to let it go until I get back so another 2-3 weeks is locked in. Thanks for the advice and helping me decide
