Can i cut roots?????? and it will still live?

Cutting roots is like running backwards; just because you can doesn't make it a good idea.

You either need auto seeds or to go into flowering when your plant is still short. I would suggest an LST. And don't cut the roots.

sorry im soo new to this i just jumped the gun and bought that thing i want a baby :( so maybe you can understand lol but what is a LST?

LST is Low Stress Training. Bending plants at the node (3rd thru 6th leaf set) and maintaining an even canopy. Here is an example and a video...Picture 033.jpg

The video is a practical demonstration. But the pic is my prefered method. I use bamboo skewers to push them over rather then strings or wires to pull them down.

BTW if you click the link in my sig it takes you to a video classroom. Lots of how to videos for 1st timers. I suggest readng, studying, planning, and acting before you germ a single seed.

so wait... you paid $200 for THAT?!? i made one 3x that size (with lights...) for like $120.....

OH and if you think the roots are supposed to stay in that little black pot, your wrong. they will fill the whole tup up. just make sure it stays short and you dont have anything to worry about....
