i highly recomend you get one of those misting cloners for cuttings, they work great and there fast, but as above, glass of water works great too

The best thing you can do to speed it up or increase success is get your temps right
100%, I'd get roots in exactly 7 days in my aerocloner...till winter arrived and my water was very cold, 9 days went by and nothing...i started freaking out went and got an aquatic water heater to keep it in the 25c range and i shit you not within 24 hours they was all rooting...

You can also drop straight into a cup of water with nothing on stems. Or into a rapid rooter or chunk of rockwool. They will root if given somewhat decent conditions and ample time.
Take cut, remove anything low. Leave a good fan leaf and the top. Submerge whole cut in distilled water. Submerge whole cube in distilled water. Count to 20. Remove cube from water. Remove clone from water. Insert clone into rockwoll. Place under light, way down on the floor tho. Wait and water until roots appear. You can start a ¼ strength nutrient charge if you want to feed a little before you see roots, but just water for at least a week. Guaranteed success
