I have 4 plants 3 have showed sex as female the 4th i wanted to give it more time to show. im mostly sure its a male now but i wanted to give it another week. the plants have not begun flowering yet so im wondering if its safe to have the *suspected* male plant around them for another week or is it risky?

Just keep it in there until you know for sure.
The male should show it's sex first and it isn't going to release it's pollen for a few days or weeks even. So you are going to be safe atleast until you know it's a male.
