It really depends on what happened. I am imagining bad things but “what happened” is more important than “I imagine”.
Probably not if used properly but you can definitely burn your plants with that just like most any other fertilizer. Be careful someone might get the idea they can just use that to grow in.

My mistake for not being clear. Medina Growin Green 3-2-3 fertilizler CAN NOT and WILL NOT burn your plants. I've used this product since 1982 on orchids to oak trees, tomatoes to pomegranates and since 2015 on cannabis. It CAN NOT and WILL NOT burn your plants. I've applied it to lawns in South Texas in 105 F heat and never bother to water it in. When it rains it rains. It will definitely NOT burn your plants. As for using it as a medium, it's a fertilizer. Sorry I wasn't clear in my earlier post. I was just being silly about growing in it. But still if used in excess it likely will burn plants. Some people think more is better and if used in too high of amounts that will still burn your plants. The thing is that many don't follow the directions for dosage. I'm sure if used properly it will not burn anything but so many new growers of all kinds of plants use way too much of everything and too much of anything can have negative results.
