Can coverups be covered up, legally?

Of course not, that's the nature from the start. It's just like catching a child lying. When challenged, another lie is required to perpetuate this fiction and so on..

Emails get altered and redacted by both sides, Batman,

Hillary "lost" an entire set up paper work that she later "found" on a desk in plain view,

The only saving grace for this administration is that few seem to care about this story. Until this email broke, I did not know if it was gross incompetence at interpreting data or a bold face lie designed to keep election messaging on track. Seems pretty clear now that it was the latter and completely unnecessary.

How the hell did the "most transparent administration in history" manage to hide this from congress for 20 months and then turn it over under a freedom of information act?

Does anyone believe Jay Carney claiming the email was not about Benghazi? He must have gone to the Baghdad Bob school for press secretaries!

NBC mentioned it, ABC, not at all, but CBS was all over it, last night, as an emerging scandal of coverup. When Peter Jennings picks it up, it is real.

Ben-gi was not a scandal. Tempting the Admin into coverup is just good politics,

Luring the opponent into a false sense of security and speading things out to lure in the partisan press is a fine strategy. these days.

I read the memo, even if Jay did not....it is all about Benghazi and all about beginning a cover up.

manufactured republican non-scandal.
Official: 'We Should Have Tried' to Help During Benghazi Attack
By Carrie Dann
A retired military official who served at U.S. Africa Command in Germany during the time of the Benghazi attack says that the United States “should have tried” to send help to Americans under fire there.
“There are accounts of time, space and capability discussions of the question, could we have gotten there in time to make a difference,” Air Force Brigadier General Robert Lovell (Ret.) told the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. “Well, the discussion is not in the ‘could or could not’ in relation to time, space and capability. The point is we should have tried.”
Lovell also told the panel that U.S. officials knew at the outset of the attack that it was “hostile action” and not a spontaneous reaction to an anti-Islam video. But as the military weighed its reaction, he said, “there was a lot of looking to the State Department for what it was that they wanted.”
The hearing before the GOP-led committee comes after the White House denied that a top aide’s email sent three days after the attack indicates that the Obama administration aimed to steer attention away from the assault by extremists.
That email from deputy national security advisor Ben Rhodes, titled “Prep call with Susan [Rice],” reads in part that one goal of the then-U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations should be "to underscore that these protests are rooted in an Internet video, and not a broader policy failure.”
That email was about “the overall situation in the region” and not about the Benghazi attack, spokesman Jay Carney said Wednesday.
Asked again about the documents, Carney dismissed Republican "conspiracy theories" and said that the focus of investigations of the 2012 attack should be to ensure that a similar event does not happen again.

There were a lot of things bad about Al Capone but in the end it was the paper trail that nailed him

self rule is all about the details

Cover ups are legal, if you don't like it, well, I hope your bunker can withstand a Predator drone attack.

You don't know much about law.

Drone attack = legal = WE don't care.

Cover up = illegal = WE do care.

Or maybe it is only the PUB coverups that matter? We will see.

no one cares about benghazi.

you can keep trying to convince yourself, but it's getting pretty sad at this point.

especially since you have been caught trying to lie and alter emails and bury the voting record in order to manufacture this premeditated non-scandal.

Hey, Uncle Buck, do you pay any attention to current political events?

Seems to me that you take great pains to avoid even a whiff of any NEW INFORMATION.
Proceed at your own peril.

lullerskates.

the rawn pawl fanboi who loved unnecessary wars and domestic surveillance under the white president (but not the black president) who has actually stated that anthropogenic global warming is a "hoax" (good luck finding one scientist, skeptic or not, who agrees with that piece of mental retardation) now thinks he has a solid grasp on reality.

in fact, he's fucking sure of it.

this is too funny.

Did Bush even come close to lying like Obama has?
Nope...keep hyperventilating and desperately flailing as it provides me with great merriment.
You even have to dig up threads from way before you were even a member here to feebly attempt to defend the biggest liar to ever inhabit the oval office!!
Your panic driven desperation speaks for itself.
Now this is entertainment.

"panic driven desperation" is a perfect way to describe your baseless, uncited, and unsupported allegation that obama lies more than any other president.

just because you keep chanting it and rape a thesaurus in doing so doesn't make it true. you need empirical evidence, and you don't have it.

you're simply a racist with a thesaurus. my point in digging up these old posts was to illustrate that you would defend programs under bush that you then hung obama by the toenails for.

it was much easier than i anticipated, even with the search function not allowing me to list your posts in ascending order.
