Can Clones turn into Hermes or Males? Also.....

I didn't think they could but wanted to makes sure being my 2 plants get stressed some times.

Also. I switched to flowering last night. I did 24 hours of dark first. I just went and looked at my girls. Is it possible to see pre-flowering already? Becuase I swear I see some hairs by some of the corners. They are both about 12 inches high, bushy, and under 6(40 watt) fluoro tubes.

Thanks.

I dont recall ever reading that they cannot become hermy and being a clone from a parent that CAN it only makes sense that of course they can if you stress them. I could be totally wrong but can only think that there are certain strains that are susceptible to hermy anyway. I myself took clones after they were flowered anyway so I have hairs on all my clones.

the only way a clone can turn hermie (if its not taken from one,) is if you stress it that much to turn it hermaphrodite. if it didnt come from a herm it wont be one.
Also about your pre-flowers. Thats norm, i usually allways get white pistles on my fe-males before switching to 12/12. I have 2 mothers in veg. just now getting 18/6 and they both have pre-flowers!

YES..... I just had a clone in my flower room turn mucho Hermie a few weeks ago. It totally caught me off guard. I have been cutting off the same BlueBerry mother for close to a year with no problems and then WHAM, I was looking thru my E and F table and there he was in all his glory. Unfortunatley about 4 or 5 of the bananas were opened up so I took a plastic bag and ever so gently covered up the bastard son and closed it at the bottom and cut it out.
