yo everyone, been having a little trouble recently, last feed was on sunday and now there drooping again im sure its not overwatering because i only gave them 2L.

Im in canna coco and currently feeding 20ml A&B per 10 L and 15 ml rhizo per 10L, the girls dont look happy at all, do they look like they have N def? If you can see on the pics they have twisted growth also! PH is at 5.8

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks RIU

high ph/ over watered.....I had the same problem with my seedlings bout 2 weeks ago, If all the leaves are green with out dead brown spots, all droopy looking its either the ph is over 7 or they are over watered

That is the first sign something is wrong, it will get worse and start locking out all kinds of shit so fix it before that happens. after that happens its hard telling what is really wrong since they will be deff. in like 5 nutes. ph is the first thing i would check

Thanks for the reply, the PH is bang on 5.8, it jumps a tiny bit but i no its not the meter because every time i put it in calibrating fluid (ph 7) it jumps straight to that. The pots still feel heavy but lighter on some. I was planning on switching next week aswell

got some very dark stems in there, you giving them cal/mag right?
No cal mag man, just A&B and Rhizo. Sometimes night time temps drop to 14c so that could be a reason? I dont know if i should treat them with calmag. They go happy one day then not so happy next. Typical ladies

Mag deficiency looks like N deficiency. You are also exhibiting very dark stalks and leaf stems. I would put my money on mag if your Ph is right. Cal/mag will give some N too.

Thanks man, will get some calmag tomorrow would you do it full strength or half dose? Do you think 20 ml per 10L is enough nutes for the stage their at, at the moment??

Thanks

I would get them perked up before a switch. its only going to cause more problems. 99.9% of those digtal ph testers are junk. My buddy had a $500 unit, ph ,ec, ppm all that right?? wrong, he called me up to come check his plants cant figure out whats going on with them, i figured it was ph cause of what he was describing to me so I brought my $6 ph test kit. I testd the water he was using it was 7.8, he tested the same water..6.3.... he tests the calb. liquid...7 i test the liquid 7.... we did this 4 or 5 times, went and bought batteries, brought the meter back to the store and showed the grow dude how it was not working, got a brand new tester, same fukn thing.... I wont trust those things cause of that... ill stick with my 6 dollar kit, it works every time no matter what.

always start off slow with nutrients. Half dose should be fine.

it's def' a good idea to have an analogue form of testing for back up.

Dont 100% agree with that, dig meters have never served me wrong

well agree with what? i was just telling you how we had the best meter on the market and it fukd up our grow. you may have the 1 out of 100 that works and actually gives a correct reading every time, but have you checked it side by side against and test kit with a vial and drops? Im just trying to help. my plants looked just like that and the ph was too high, cold will also make them look like that and lock up nutes too.

there is digi meters that do work, but i just like concrete methods...3 drops, light greenish yellowish....6.8

now with digi meters??? you are depending on the guy in china who just got in a fight with his wife cause he has a small dick and cant fuk her good enought, then he goes to work and puts your ph meter togeather... just saying, vial test kits are never wrong.

Hmmm, the ever present pH in soil thing rears its ugly head again!!!!!

#1 What soil are you using? It looks kinda odd.

If your checking the pH of the run off, your only getting the pH of the run off! Your soil will be something totally diff.
Get the CalMag and use it full strength.
pH your feeding to 6.5 -7.0 if it makes you feel better.
If your soil does not have the nice little living things it needs to do the pHing it's self. You're going to have problems.
Fix that by making a simple AACT and add it say,,,every other feeding for a week to get them little critters working right.

simple AACT
1 - 5 gallon bucket
1 - 2 outlet air pump with 4 foot lines connected to 2 - 6 inch air stones.

Place the air stones as far apart as u can in the bottom of the bucket
Add 5 gallons (- 2cups) of SPRING water - NO RO or Distilled or CITY TAP water!!!!
Warm the 2 cups of water and add 1/3 cup BLACKSTRAP molasses and stir till dissolved and add to the bucket.
Add 1/3 cup Dr. Earth's Alfalfa meal to the bucket.
Add 1/3 cup worm castings to the bucket.

Plug in the air pump and keep as close to 70 deg F for 48 hrs.
You now have a simple AACT......water with it! This will add or increase the living goodies in your soil that you NEED to be there.

As far as the chinaman goes ,, he's laughing at your vial test kit....."this color makes it this" Yeah right and what color dye's and how many browns are in your feed and what does that coloring do to effect your "test strip" coloring???

I love all the people that seem to think every problem is cal/mag without even asking what his water source is.... lol

Are you using ro water? If so then it MIGHT be the problem, if you are using a decent plant food and tap, highly doubtful.

^Only PH test I really trust is when I take soil to the local co-op and have them test it for me.
