Can anyone tell me the difference between an HID hps bulb verses hortilux hps bulb?

I found HID hps 400 watt bulbs at Lowes. It's double cost at hypodronic stores. They have both the HID and hortilux. Is the hortilux so much better and why?

Both the hortilux and Lowes bulbs are HID bulbs, and while this is just my opinion, I don't think there's too much difference between them other than the price. Bulbs special-made for growing supposedly emit a better energy spectrum for plants, but regular old $14.00 hps lamps, (@ your local electrical supply store), give good results too.
