ok so i set up my new grow area in the basement... i did have fungus gnats at first but i have not seen any in about 3 days.... since getting new soil new lights and new area... however i found this bug crawling on the floor of the new grow area... not sure if its just a random basement bug (cause yes my basement has bug im sure) or if its something thats attacking/eating my plants... it was not on the plant or in the pot and i have not seen any more but i have seen 2 holes in one of the pots soil that look like something burrowed into it..i dug down a inch or two and saw nothing...i dont know if it they are related but any insight would be great thanks folks

well white thank you for the reply...i did just look at lots of pictures of mealy bugs and to be honest it doesnt look like one i know the pictures are bad... but i found one picture online that looks more like it than the mealy bug... which was the Sowbug but again i could be wrong and it very well could be what you suggested o_O

another thing the humidity in my house is around 20% everywhere including the basement... there was a flood in the basement a few years ago and only got about 3inches high of water for a short time and was pumped out quickly so... hmm

whats funny?
To answer your question, when i first saw your picture i couldn't help but laugh, the first thought that occurred to me, was
what kind of imbecile would take a picture of a bug/insect post it on a grow forum and ask what kind of bug it is

i now realise that was quite judgmental of me, and that even the daft deserve a second chance

i hope that clarifies the situation

P.S did you catch and kill the bug or just take pics of it ?

ok well first off i dont appreciate being insulted because i asked a question. I figured it was in my grow room so what the fuck would i lose by asking other growers if they know of or have seen this bug before.. cause i personally never have. i see tons of threads in here asking what kind of bug this is etc.. shit, this is the BUGS forum... so you can get the fuck out if you have nothing useful to say... yes quite judgmental and assholeISH of you. i wont answer your P.S question cause its pretty retarded and rhetorical so thanks bud :eyesmoke:
