Can anyone answer some Questions on DWC??

Hello I am just starting up my dwc set up and have some questions. I have started my seeds and am waiting till the roots come out of the bottom of the cubes. So I will not be using drip tubes when i put the cubes in the net pots will i need to water them till the roots hit the water and if so do i still need to change my res ever week or only untill the roots are in the water? I have lots of bubbles going and the pots get some water on them. Any help would be greatl!! Thanks

Get them in the netpots and in the system now. Use the method in the link below to water them from beneath. Raise your water level if need be, but think about more airstones and a bigger pump too.

Thank you. do you just use straight water first? My totes are black should i cover them with reflective poly?

Nahh, with Black buckets/totes you dont have to cover them.

Plain water and dark. Begin light at a distance when you see green. Begin light nutes when you see a set of real leaves.
