Can Anybody Identify This Plant ? (+pics)

I got the seeds from a friend but no clue what they are, uploaded a picture of the seeds (accompanied by some rice grains) and a couple of young plants:

well i bought KONG sunflwer seeds this year and they looked alot like that. they are supposed to get up to 15 ft tall sometimes bigger

those look a little like sunflowers, but are not.

they are some kind of squash, pumpkin, cantaloupe, or similar plant.

Thanks for the guess guys, but after checking the seeds of the plants you told me, they look similar but don't seem to be like mine. The seeds I have are kind of round and fat, they are not flattened.

Here is a pic of a more mature plant I had before (I forgot I had this pics), maybe watching the true leaves can help :)

i cant tell what it is.
it how ever looks nothing like a squash, pumpkin, or cantoluope.

maybe we will know when it produces what ever it is it will produce

now that i see the true leaves, that is not some sort of squash. i was wrong.

squash type of plants do not continue to have long, oval leaves like that. that is what my lettuce looked like on a smaller scale before i planted it outside in the ground.

Damn! I can't believe I found it, it's called Safflower. Thanks for your help guys :)

safflower huh, i was close i guess, sunflower/safflower.
now i have to look up that plant as i have never heard of it

I don't know if it's been solved,
but you'll need to wait for the true leaves before anyone will know.
And it looks like some kind of squash to me too.
