2) Growing indoor
3) Watering schedule- 24hr E.C 1.7 but i have lowered it now to1.0
4) Growing Medium- DWC
5) What stage of growth- Veg 4weeks from seed

View attachment 2453197Here is a picture of my poor baby. This is the worst looking 1 of the bunch the rest just look a little bit dis coloured . They are all feeding from the same reservoir.

1.7 too high man.. you should be at 1.7 in late flower ,not veg..that stem looks rotted : ( are you keeping your ph in check

Oya i forgot PH its at 5.9 i check it daily . The E.C was that high because i had no E.C meter until today .

Do you think the high E.C caused the problem?

That looks like Fusarium stem rot to me. Does any of this look like it fits:

I'm very much a cannabis newbie and this is well above my paygrade. Someone with real knowledge will be along but honestly I don't know that you can fix this once it's started. I'd certainly quarantine those plants showing that. When this grow finishes (even if prematurely), I'd use bleach to really clean my room too.

I'm sorry you are going through this.

I don't belive that high ec could cause stem rot.. it would be more a case of the stem having a break or wound on it and water stagnating on it i would have thought.Are your roots ok ,or are they rotting to.?

I think it's too late for that one. It "damped off".

But the bleach clean-up is an excellent idea. cn

thats a horrific sight to behold! Shit! I think I'd cry,
These girls are strong, in fact hardy as fuck! But necrosis like that is frightening!
i hope you are no where near flower bubbles.

"Damping off" is the generic term for seedlings dying of stem rot. Usually fungal. c2g has tentatively identified it as Fusarium. That's a troublesome grow-space pest and, if it is indeed present, would justify having some fungicides at hand. Jmo. cn

That rust color is troublesome to me. Plus it's larger than my experience with generic moldy damping off usually occurs for me. If he'd possibly had a high ec line pouring down the stem then maybe it's not something a a little more evil.

But if it were my grow room that would be out of there not running it's roots down into a shared reservoir. I'd add some bleach or H2O2 to my reservoir and wipe down with a dilute bleach solution. I certainly hope for the best for the OP. That is miserable to see.

Ooo. The high EC feed could be the cause.

But I agree ... treat as if it's an infection. Protect the others. cn

Ahhh, I have lost several seedlings to damping off disease. It is HORRIBLE to see!

I germinate in rockwool cubes, and I've had better luck preventing it by keeping the top of the cube dry. That means a gentle fan breeze and watering from the bottom (letting the cube soak up some water, rather than pouring it on). That said, I still lose one once in a while.

Sorry for your loss. :(

I'd still like to know how this seed was germinated and when it was transferred to the medium in the pic - is it coir? - I reckon it's planted too deep, I reckon that's why it's rotting - I reckon you need to suss that out to avoid it happening again....

its been like that 5 days and it dont seem to be getting any worse

I started the seeds in the root it sponges


Should i just start some new ones or mayb even cut some clones from these 1's?

If the leaves haven't grown, it's slowly dying.

Cutting clones is something to do once you have larger plants with branches.

If you need plant count to fill your space, yes; I'd start new seeds. cn

The plants are still growing so im hoping i can get long enough with them for clones could save me a week or more waiting on seeds .
