It causes alot of stress to the plant and rooting can take up to 3 times longer than if you took the cutting from a plant not in the flowering stage. think2toke Well-Known Member Dec 31, 2009 #4 Yea it just takes longer. ALso make sure to cut away the nugagge because that ends up rotting away and its cleaner and safer to just snip it rather than let it do that. Good luck on ur clone operation!
