It's going to get root bound regardless if it's a mother. You'll have to pay attention to water and nutes being careful, as always of course but more so here due to roots, not to overdo anything. Keep her well watered and trimmed even if you don't need clones yet. This will prevent the roots from wanting to push out further. If you keep her in humid conditions, since it's not flowering there's no real risk of mold, you can cut the roots back as well. Take a boxcutter and just square off the roots to about or 3 inches from the stem depending on size, put back in pot n add soil. Might slow growth but that's kinda the idea..
