I saw a guy on here somewhere that used a trash can for one plant and got 3 or 4 ounces dried. It was actually quite an impressive setup the way he did it.

Sure you can. 32 gallon square cans at Walmart for $14. Inside dimensions approx 18W X 17D X 34H. Perfect for a 70 watt HPS from LOWES with some LST depending on the strains. Could yield about 2 ounces.

Rub flat white paint on the entire inside, will take you less than 5 mins. Then cut 3 sides of a door with a razor (wear leather gloves and be extremely careful on this step) Will need some exhaust ventilation tho, 120mm computer fan will work.

Veg mode

Puna Budder, New Purple Power, Blackberry, Thai Skunk, Power Skunk. Sex em

Trained nugs

Home made HPS reflector, homemade scrubber, homemade UVB fixture, homemade 80mm exhaust. Very CHEEP lol

Dude I used rubbermaids with cfl's and moved outdoors after it couldn't fit anymore. Its almost 5 ft and 4 weeks into flower! I think you can grow the stuff almost anywhere with care.

Does anyone think the plants will eventually grow to heights to where the can would no longer contain them?

If you veg too long, this will happen every time. That's why the trashcan grow I saw, was scrogged.
