Can 100% Feminized seeds be pollinated by random seeds.

I have a question.

I plan on growing Nirvana Master Kush outdoors. I selected 100% feminized seeds. Can the plan turn into a male supposing I have random seeds scattered throughout my garden.

- the strain of the scattered seeds are unknown, most of them are small white color seeds. There may be 200 or more seeds spread out throughout my garden so do I have any risk of my female plants turning into males at some point.

- Should the growing environment be completely sterile in order to produce sensimilla?

The plant won't turn male, but some of those random seed you planted (about 50%) will be male, and your female master kush will be full of seeds. Yes, to have sensimilla, you need no male pollen to come in contact with the females.

1 - I would never but feminized seeds because there's always a chance for them to turn hermi and apparently some people have and a male or 2 in their fem. seeds
2 - I was looking around at feminized seeds for my first grow and I found out that I can get 15 seeds for half the price of a 10 pack of the same strain that is feminized so I'd go with the non feminized seeds because I'd rather get an extra 5 to 10 more seeds if I went with them to what it would cost to have feminized seeds and have more or a selection of females to smoke and the males are nice because you can harvest the pollen and pollinate a female or so and get seeds for the next grow.

So imo save some money and get the non fermnized seeds or get non feminized seeds and go with as many as it would cost if you were to buy fem seeds. Keep the males and harvest their pollen and make some seeds.

that sucks.. but most of those seeds have not even germinated or produced. in this country the quality of weed is terrible and seedless/stemless weed is just not heard off. the seeds are often small white/green color say un-ripened seeds. They look nothing like proper MJ seeds online. So even still they can screw up my feminized seeds. FUCK. So you dont recommed an outdrow grow then? I got 5 seeds and am planning on starting with 2 at the most. +plus 2 seeds for a friend.

One more question: My friend lives near a beach and he gets plenty uninterrupted sunshine. He will be growing outdoors. Do MJ plants particularly Master Kush get affected by sea breeze? .

Yeah I was thinking of the 10 pack but its just I want 100% sensimilla so bad. I will post some pics of the weed here then mabye you can understand.

BTW, this will be my first grow so i did not want any complications with males, pollination, clones, etc.

but yeah, i plan on intorduing this strain here and if nirvana delivers i will surely get the males next time. i still have a lot to learn in MJ cultivation but I have been so interested in it. I just regret i did not start this earlier.

I would highly recommend growing feminized seeds indoors because there are people that grow out doors and do a Seed crop so there is a higher % of your plants getting seeds and its easer to control how much light they get the food they get and other things to

You can grow sensimilla outdoors, you just need to be sure there are no males anywhere around, pollen can travel a long way on the breeze. You could plant yours outside, you just need to be sure that you kill any of those random plants as they show sex, or even safer, as they start growing.

Not sure about that strain and wind resistance, you might be able to find out by looking at online seed catalogs. I do know that MJ likes a little breeze, but excessive wind will cause it to lose moisture too quickly. You will need to keep on the watering, and grow behind some sort of windbreak like a wall or big bushes.

thats a good idea sparkabowl. I may just put a plywood panel to shield the plants from sea spray.

on a side note, do you think coverting a shipping container into a MJ greenhouse is a good idea/

Like one of those big steel ones that go on a cargo ship? I dunno, those get mighty hot and stuffy on the inside - lots of ventilation and insulation needed.

yeah thats what i thought too. ventilation is probably the issue. Mabye could construct a retractable roof, otherwise a container is ideal..could mabye have 20 plants growing at the same time. beautiful that would be .

If you want to grow out side but keep it out of the eyes or wondering eyes maybe you could build a shed and maybe build it right beside your place
