I've also learned to tape all led lights on equipment inside the room. No one should argue that red led lights inside a flower room can and will cause herm. It's fact. Removal of the hypothetical reason and subsequent correction to the problem is proof positive. As for outside grows, if the streets light penetrates to the plant problems will occur. The moon is reflected light, not the same. It's not the light you see its the light a plant sees and uses that counts. Didn't read all the posts, this was probably already said.

its more a case of how much light is needed to cause problems for plants when they are in the dark period
i would cover up anything that is bright, but tiny light sources have no effect the plants are not that sensitive in my experience , each to their own

i agree its humans that are ultra sensitive and suffer stress more so than plants
only the other day i crept up on my plants and shouted really loudly at them for growing a little slowly in flower (sativa doms) , they didn't even flinch

yeah, I find they really don't get sensitive until you get in there and start rattling that g-spot, even then they still give ya a nice response.

I've heard of grows having problems with herms and low yields but after covering dehumid lights, timer lights, a/c lights, etc., the problems went away and flowering was shortened by 2 or 3 days!
