Camel hits the dirt. Supercrop Style

OK guys im starting this cause this will be my last bagseed grow. Im almost ready for the serious strains.

Since the first grow I started on RIU i have really just experimented everything i grew just to get the feel for it.
I wanted to know when I invested on good genetics I would receive its full potential, and not play experiment doctor with them.

I started with CFL lights and got educated.
Now I flower HPS all the way. I'll list more in detail about my set up.

I grew my first plant by means of topping.
I grew my second plant 12/12 from seed.
thirdly I grew my successful clones

Now is my attempt on SuperCroping with 3 plants.

OK since my last grow I really was on a big 12/12 from seed kick.

I harvested 2 plants less than oz a piece.
I had cloned four plants and just harvested them.

now while I was in the mist off all this I started 10 seeds in the flowering room.
I was going to go 12/12 from seed on those then changed my mind once i saw what a shitty harvest you get.

Not to knock any 12/12 growers. but I think you need a lot of plants to make it worth you while.

ok now from those germed seeds under 12/12
5 confirmed males so I trashed them.

I took those 5 Females and put them under 24hr of light for 2 weeks feeding them a high Nitrogen diet.

Well 2 Hermed on me. and I let 3 grow out for a month and a half.

I topped once and started suppercropping.
And here we are they just hit the HPS on the 1st of the month.

Ok about my setup.

470w hps.

I have a 400w above the plants
and a 70w security lights for the sides/bottom.

I think this will ensure great penetration.

For the soil i just made up my own mixture.

I grabbed a bag of garden soil and mixed some cow manure, some of my compost soil, some sand, and I couldnt find perlite so I put some styrofoam in my food processor.

Seems to be ok they look healthy except one has a little yellowing.
I think I may have over fed last week.

For reflection Im using some good ole foil blankets.

I have one ac vent that dumps in the room and one oscillating fan.

OK that about sums it up.

here we are at week one in flowering with 470w .

Looks like they're stretching good I used some wire to keep the horizontal.

Ive been tucking nodes underneath to keep them as level as possible.

My bends have formed some big elbows on them.

Ive never tried this method so i guess its a good sign that it will be able to hold some heavy colas.

Some of the nodes have white pistils already.
These girls are looking healthy and loving their environment.

Now I have a big fucking problem.

PEST:

i have a infestation of gnats.
I have Bronze shit on my leaves, So I prolly have THRIPS too.

and my buddy told me some of my cured bud looked like it had mites.

Im about to dust the shit out of the room and plants.

I walk in the room and bugs are just flying around everywhere.

I saw big yellow fruit flies.

Man its a fucking disaster in there.

Its going to be Defcon it this bitch.

Yeah they took a beating.

I dusted them with some vegetable pesticide for mites and other bugs.

The leaves have been falling off.
They started turning brown and dying.

I wash off the residue today and fed them some Nutrients.

They actually perked up some, So maybe it wont be a wasted effort.

One thing that came out is there are no bugs. Just lots of dead ones.

I think they're going to make it.

Pistils are poking straight out.
They were slumped dead for days.

Plants look like they are stabilizing.

looking alot better now my man...i'm glad everything has smoothed out...i also just started a new grow, i wasn't happy at all with my 12/12 from seed experiment...i'll take some pics soon, i made my grow space a little better, closed it in more...i'm going back to auto's, i just love em...i got diesel ryder, 1 white dwarf and 1 easy ryder(lr2 x ak47), i'm also starting 3 purple wrecks, i just couldn't resist, they sound so dank...i'm gonna veg the pw for a bit, then throw em outside or to my buddies flower room...

How did that turn out for you?
I wasnt impressed with the yeild from 12/12.
I think it was cool to try, but man I smoked those few i had in a matter of weeks. Thats why this round i figured I'd give supercrop a go.

If they truly survive the bug attack I Know i will Triple the yeild.

Man I hear ya on the long veg.

I'm really thinking from now on patience is the key.
2 month veg is the minimum on Indica.

Im aiming between 4-5 oz this method.

I'll take on a Sativa one of these days.

yeah, i think to make 12/12 from seed work you gotta have the right strain, all the same, and room...my shit was too packed, i ended up with some of em being like 7 grams dried, worst ever...but i knew it was an experiment, i wasn't worried bout yield...total i probably got 3-4 ozs, and some of it was really funky...this time i'm having way less plants...i'm tryin sumpin this time, puttin the auto ak into a huge 5 gal pot, so she should do at least 2 ozs, hopefully more since it won't be all packed...cause when i grew the diesel ryders before i had em in 2 and 3 gal containers and some did over an oz and one did close to 2! sucks though, i'm buring through my supply to fast, gotta slow down, haha....peace man..

Yup exactly like I thought. I figured you have to have multiples going at the time. You had the yeild but how crazy was it to keep up with that many?

You ought to try Stem Pinching.
Out of all the methods ive tried.
This is the most bud sites ive had.
Atleast all of them being front and center.

Thats what I didnt like about the 12/12 from seed.
The lower buds of the one and only stalk didnt recieve the lights full potential.
If you saw the same thread that gave me the idea, he was growing main cola strains like "donkey dick" or something.

Pretty good I'd guess.
Im @ 30 days flowering with multiple bud sites.

i just finished mine up some weeks ago, ive been a lil uneasy lately so i stopped posting so much self incriminating things online, thrips act slower than mites but are still a pain in the ass. Thrips definitely stunted growth on my girls. The WW and BC finished fine but the g13 haze came down a bit to early because of the thrips. But thrips leave silvery markings from where they suck out nutrients through plant leaves. Yours looked to have bounced back nicely. Your flower period might be longer than was expected originally. Looks good though, I have never done supercroping but hopefully it works out well, you should check out http://www.dutchmaster.com.au/ for some amazing nutes, thats what im using next time.

Now we're getting somewhere.
They have bounced back.
One is flowering like a champ
2 are doing OK.
The bugs have really stunted the two.

Although we went though hard times, they are budding up nicely.

Well from the pics you'll see damn near every leaf fell off.
Last week I was busy and forgot to water for like 4-5 days.
Man I'm just abusive.

This is my last bagseed grow! Just got conformation that my Dutch Passion White Widows are on the way.

I got the Feminized seeds. Wow they're pricey. Atleast they threw in some freebies.

Im thinking this harvest might last me a little while until some WW are ready.
