Calyxes Stacking, or Just Pre-flower (Pics)

Is this the beginning of real flowering, or just pre-flower? I want to adjust my FF Trio nutes accordingly.

This is my first outdoor grow. Two successful indoor grows under my belt. In Central CA coastal area. Seems early to flower.

I have two ILGM feminized GDP sprouted on the same day in mid-May. One is still growing fast with no evidence of pre-flower or advanced maturity yet. The other is 20% larger, growth has slowed, and she's throwing calyces at every top node. Should I go to flower nutes now for the mature one, or both?

Thanks.

Not sure why but they look a little odd to me. Definitely pre flowering but I'd watch them close. Had some pretty messed up seeds in past. Stick with veg nutes until buds form, couple of weeks approximately, maybe longer. They need the N for the growth to come.

I agree with southernontario. Some people think feeding bloom nutes will hurry plants into flower. That's all dependent on length of darkness, all nutes do is feed the plant. Wait til little buds form, then switch to bloom nutes when the plant will start to need them. Along the way you'll still need some nitrogen

They look good. No male parts. Just pistils. I agree with the above recommendation as well to keep on with veg nutes until the stretch is over. FF nutes are available pretty much right away, so they shouldn’t skip a beat when you do switch.

You guys rock! Thanks. I'll stay with my veg program.

BTW...Here they are whole.
