Anyone got an opinion on these? Looks like mag def... or nitrogen def? Ec is at 1.8 ph is 6. In coco.

Thanks for any help.
What nutes are you using?

personally I feed every day at 1.2-1.4EC In coco.

they look underfed though to me which could mean one of 2 things.

you’re nutes aren’t complete.
You’re ph is way off and causing lock out.

how often are you feeding and what nutes are using?

you mention pots being too small. i have grown um like that in solo cups and if they are in pots that little then upping the food wont hurt. There is literally no such thing as too little of pots if you feed correctly. in a solo cup those could handle 2.0ec and higher. I highly doubt you meant that small though.

ive grown 5 foot tall plants in a half gallon pot using rockwool croutons. your pot definitely is not to small. this is either a wrong ph or it looks like you've overwatered or underwatered. hard to tell but coco needs to dry out just like soil and they retain a lot of water

No mate... coco should never dry out.... NEVER. It becomes water repellant if it dries out. Read up on it. It needs to be watered to saturation every day or a few times a day.

Please don’t comment on something you clearly don’t understand.

coco needs constant feeding for the CEC to work effectively.

I do the bare minimum one feed per day but make sure I use a large enough pot so that I don’t have to feed multiple times per day.

if you don’t feed every day in coco you get excess K as the coco holds on to Ca and Delivers back more K which is why we need to feed more often to stop This happening.

elevated levels of Ca are good in coco I utilise a mono Ca additive and feed this every time too.
