Calling EVERYONE to help me design BADASSS room!

This isn't my first grow, but as we know there is a lot to learn and know (still)
So basically I got some room that I would like to build into a grow room.
This is the layout
veg room is just a lil cabinet under the stairs.
I do have all the equipment I need.
foxfarm nutes
4x600watt hps/mh hoods (Cant use more than 2, electric issues)

floorplan.jpg
Questions...
How can I pull 1-2lbs every 2 months with just 2 plants. (strain is Northern Lights)
Should I use light movers for 2x600watt lights or just keep them stationary?

Honestly, i'd check out all in one grow cabinets for design ideas.

Here is one i'll reference from BC Northern Lights
(http://www.bcnorthernlights.com/the-bloombox)

With your space that you have listed in the diagram, i'd start first by making a section for seedlings (shown in upper left chamber). Followed by a section for vegging (bottom left), and lastly, a section for flowering (biggest open space).

Your yield goals of 1-2 lbs can be realistic as your flowing room proves to be an adequate amount of space. However, using only two plants will require some creativity on your part. I'd do some research on your strain / genetics to see what a realistic yield is.

You said that you have x4 600w HPS lights, but you can only use two. I may be wrong, but x1 600w HPS can cover about a 6x6 room, but may serve a room up to 6.5x6.5 ft. space (https://www.rollitup.org/t/what-area-does-one-600w-hps-cover.242650/page-2). If you aren't planning on seedlings, you can have your clone room / space (veggie space) with x1 600w HPS and one flowering room x1 600w HPS and meet your two light requirement. The 600w HPS in the veggie room may serve to overpower depending on if you are using seedlings vs. clones.

Your Questions:
How can I pull 1-2lbs every 2 months with just 2 plants - This depends all on genetics and your experience. SOG is a good method, but that is done with many plants, where as you are only wanting two. Your best bet to get close would be a hydroponic system (DWC).

Should I use light movers for 2x600watt lights or just keep them stationary? - Keep them stationary, your space isn't that big, you can rotate the smaller plants to the center of the light, and vice versa.

My Experience:
None, I haven't even started my grow yet. All of this that I have explained was information I have found (mostly on this forum).

Good luck!

Here is what i have planned.......

Start 2 seedlings in 1 gallons (run 4 plants on the 2nd run)
ph 6.5, nutes at half strength (foxfarm) temps 75-78
Top twice and also do LST
veg for 50 days total
take clones 10 days before they go into flowering
Transplant into 5 gallon fiber pots, 5 days after taking clones so they can recover a bit
flower temps 75-78 day 65 night
medium is 60% coco 30% ffof 10% perlite
Run 2 600watts stationary
Keep canopy even with scrog

So will this pull about a 1lb to 1.5lb every 2 months?
When exactly should i transplant to the final 5 gallons? so they don't go into flower while still in shock
Will i have to water them more often with my medium mixture?
If I do get light movers, will it make much difference in yield?

I have done the research, been doing the research, and asking questions is part of the research.

Well this first run will have to be with 2 plants because i only have 2 seeds at the moment, but when i run 2nd, ill do 4 plants
Pretty much a perpetual grow
I'll use 2 600watts in flower room only
and use t5 for veg and clones

btw THIS was my first grow that i did with 4 white widows in my 4x4 tent

sorry, didn't mean to sound insulting. I just wanted to add the disclaimer that the info I posted was from research on the forums. Sick grow btw.

more more more plants... what you have to remember is even with 8-9 weeks flower time, you got another 4-6 weeks between seedling/veg/harvest on top of that... the turnaround you are looking for you want at least 4 flowering at a time... and prolly DWC.... well topped/trained to make it have many cola bud sites, and light penetration to all major bud sites...

no no, that was for codayyy, the person who replied "You have a lot of research to do.........." lol i guess bullshit posts like that might get his post numbers up and definitely not helping...

Well thats the plan (kinda), but i have to start with 2 seeds, run it all the way thru with the plans, flower.
but ill be cloning and vegging 4, for the next run. I wanna flip them every two months. but yeah I will be running 4 plants for sure but wont be starting with 4

Just trying to figure out how i can set the lights up, on movers or stationary?
Could running MH and HPS will help?

.

Wasn't being rude. Your talking about pulling 1-2 lbs with 2 plants in 2 months when you would have to veg for at least a month to even get close to that if it where even possible at all under your conditions you listed above. Then in your next post you said something about vegging for 50days so I guess I'm just confused now........ New to this site yes but not to growing.

I'm guessing your going to constantly be vegging plants so you can cycle them into a flower room correct? I would consider looking into a/c and co2 so you can keep temps and growth as fast as possible along with good yield. I once had one veg room and two flower rooms to constantly veg plants and even have two cycles of flowering to harvest every month it's a lot of work and hard to keep everything happy so good luck man.

I basicly copied this for way cheaper and added a/c. I'm currently growing out of it. I'm a certified HVACR technician and have built many grow rooms/boxes these are cool just can't see spending $6400 on one.
