here is the back ground
first dwc .........i messed up by mixing the feed way to strong for 5 weeks of the plants life and the results are in the pics
strain is barney's farm blue mammoth (lived up to the mammoth part)
time this is 50.2 days since it was planted .............soil verison had buds going by now and planning the trim day

this is one plant in a 4x4x6 tent with 600w hps ........i have reduced the feed and moved to a heavier bloom to grow mix combined with 12/12 lighting for the last week

1 does this look like flowering
2 at this point would u keep it going or cut it (vote)
3 is there any method u guys know of with autoflowers to get it back on track

Looks like a really nice plant. According to Barneys there is still 20 days left (if you're at day 50) and most auto flowers seem to take weeks or a month longer than specified.

barneys has always been 3-6 weeks off from the ones that ive grown out anyway

Why 12/12 ? Looks like a nice plant. I would keep it and switch to 20/4 or 24/0.

i messed up by fallowing the RDWC feed plan instead of the drain to waste one so it was getting 6x the amount it needed for 5 weeks and grow to be this monster it been a week since i posted and i need it to start fliping into flowering other wise the sheer size of it was going to cause me to kill it or trade it


i never done any hydro so i did not know better by the time i figured it out it was taken up 1/3 of the tent
the tent it is in now is a jerry rigged .....normally i used it for drying since it was a shitty off brand type

i ordered a 3rd tent to make it intothe drying and this one is now a active tent ......................if u guys think it is worth the time and it will flower (not just keep growing and growing) i will finish it out for 6 8 weeks see what happends other wise i was going to cut her down put away the hydro and fill up a few 7 gallon soil bags and do some jack here and blue diesel amd a ultra lemon haze ............in the other tent run bio diesel berry diesel and a good old berry ryder

personally i would say you fed it just right
there is no way i would ever consider terminating that plant
move it to the side move the cooltube to the other side and turn the plant daily
it may very well start to flower if you push some P and K on it

you could just FIM the tips of the branches that are getting close to the light or pinch them to slow there growth

She is flowering man, you have about 8 weeks until she's ripe.

You could try to bend her top stem sideways. After it is bent, you may need to support it, but it should keep developing fine.
I am no expert, but I've seen various pix of stems broken sideways that heal and keep growing.
I may have your same problem. I planted two autos in bubble buckets in a 1.8M tent and I am hoping that they won't reach 1M because I would have to break them sideways or let them burn.
I would never just rip it out at that point. I hope.

looks like last night she shot up more ...................so try turning it and fem the top to slow the growth

now i have to figure out how to drain the water out and replace .............before i could take the basket off and dump it now that is not a choice to big to get the lid off i would crush the top of it on the light


can i ask with the drain/fill line on the side is it important that i completely get out all the old water before replacing it ...................and with it like this do i need to do it every week or can i go every 2 weeks

when i fill the water i mix up 1 gallon of feed and pour that in ( is this right ) .................i do not own a EC checker and the ppm thing i can not tell what it is taken so hence the 1 gallon of feed a day

honestly you could get most the old stuff out and just run some plain water to dilute the old nutes then add your new stuff

growing indoors .............the smell that comes from it needs to be controlled

next door is a state trooper for a different state .........my backdoor to his drive is 25 feet .............so i have the venting going the other way (looking at ducting to change the air flow and shoot it up the chimme)

as for the area (the tent is a stable clean warm ) pairly in the ground area .........base borad heat with centeral air in summer ..........this use to be a party house and now it just a guy house ( i am only growing to fill in the need for extra cash .........i supply 4 ppl every month with 2 to 4 oz each ) i brew moonshine becuase i enjoy it and it is better then store got stronger plus i can use the CO2 for this

at this point i have broken even and knocked back some of my debts (to orginal do this i skipped eating for 4 weeks over 2 month period )

if i can knock everything down to a 0 balance ...........the extra money i make i can keep helping my father out along with getting a 2nd place and moving the whole op to there and putting in a buddy i trust to live there (my stuff in a room with a steel door battery back up magnetic lock buddy installs them) looking for houses now

maryland does not have anything set up so i can not apply for growing /selling they have no veting or anything to start it will be 2 years before it is fully in and can go 100% legal minus the moonshine for myself

30 bucks materals .........about 8 to 12 bucks in engery to cook it out (cheap gas run materals are 12 bucks)

and the CO2 i can put the system infront of the intake and pump it into the tents...........techinally u could stop there and it would be wine i just remove most of that water and keep the part that was made ...............it is good with little vanella bean in there cork it up come back in a month mixes great with coke or drink strait


what u guys get at the store at best is 80 to 100 proof that is 60 to 50% water in those bottles .................atleast my weakest is 60% drink and 40% water .............strongest is 75% drink 25% water and honestly what would u rather spend your money on weak shit or strong shit

little more tweaking i can make it stronger and it will run engines or cut into your gas and make those 75 buck fillups down to 50 and add 1/3 of this into the tank ..................basically that is what they are doing now ethonl 85% on the gas pumps 15% of that gas is denatured drink

I would use a siphon hose to remove the solution, all you have to do is lift the lid. These are available at walmart, autozone, everywhere for about 6.00. I have have one for another hobby, 5 gallons takes about 10-15 mins to drain out.

To fill, use a transmission funnel. Again, only have to lift the lid. These are everywhere as well for less than 10.00


Good luck, a giant plant is a good problem to have

yeast ,deer corn , sugar and water
a barrel , about 20' of piping
and a electric water heater slightly modified and im good to go

the beer siphon ...........thanks man.......and yah i built something like that funnel for the fill drain hose with a pex connector

look up mile high distilling ...............they sell a heating unit all ready to go just need a 1inch coupling and u mount it on a beer keg .......it is the one i have it is great u can controll the heat perfect get a slow boil good taste..................they even sell a set up for 50 gallon pots
it starts to come out at 4 and 3/4 and it ends about 6 6 3/4 gets the water to boil

copper gets a better taste but if u do it right u can make a good pot still and thumper out of a 15 gallon beeg keg and a 7 gallon keg ...............they sell stainless steel 2 inch caps just drill some holes in it and u have a thumper ...............and JB welb Steel stik is great no need for tig weildeing just drill the holes

a 5 gal bucket and lid makes a ok thumper i learned the hard way dont use the ones that had pickles in them
BUT the ones i got from the donut shop had filling in them and gave it a hint of jelly donut >.<

really............i thought that would have been a no no with the steam and the fact it is a leaching chemical ...............are u making sure the bucket is epa and has none of those one cancer thing they use to be in plastics ...............i know a guy in your area that will make u a copper thumper(really nice guy i only had 90 bucks to work with and he built me a 1 and half gallon thumper and shipped it to me for 90 bucks)

the keg thing is just away to do large batches ...............the still head and the thumper head can be taken off and put on a cool full system once the fist run is done ........wait 25 mins it is cool enought to touch and work with .................and the keg works great with a the 12 inch round propain burner

we have dirty beer store (the ppl will pay u 5000 to marry a family member to come into the usa) the guy will sell me empty kegs for 35 bucks ...and that is 5 bucks under deposit cost..................figured all this out buddy wants me to set him up a op so he can supply ppl

best part the keg has handles ...........rig up a pullie system on some 4x4s i can lift the keg off the burner roll it to the dump site and lift with a stick .............when it is empty throw in the creek to cool off and wash move the new one to the burner and keep the cycle going untill the 55 gallon barrels are empty of mash
