They are conserving water. Are they conserving enough? Probably not. Or there are just too damn many Californians.
The businesses and people with lush green grass on their properties are the ones fucking it all up for everyone else. Rock Gardens and Cacti.

I can agree with the golf courses, but the vineyards are creating something of value with that water, not recreation like golf and swimming. Which are things people can easily sacrifice in order to benefit us all.
But wine is off-limits?

Urban areas account for only around 15% of California's total water use. Gotta grow that rice, plum, nectarine, & citrus homie.

The citrus farms in Southern California being the most insulting, the water channel is just for them after all. Thanks for helping the 'little guy' Jerry.

Yeah, but oranges grown elsewhere aren't really edible, try eating an orange from Florida, yuck. I lived in Irvine and I know the smell of orange blossoms like no one's business.

Think of the drought like God gave you all some more area to develop! With all that new land popping up the real estate market will be boomin, just waiting for eager new Californians to live the dream!!
