Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think anyone said that Swerve was the first one to rip off someone else's picture(s). Maybe he's just the most recent one to be caught!

Would you agree, that whether or not he's the first, its still "wrong" to do this, and it reflects badly on anyone doing it? Also, would you agree that if this happened, it would be reasonable to discuss what happened on this forum? Isn't one of the major purposes of this forum for growers to help one another?

On seedbanks, again, I think there is a distinction to be drawn between seedbanks incorrectly illustrating a given line (on purpose or by accident) vs breeders doing it. I think in some cases, you can legitimately have the same picture displayed for multiple different lines from different breeders, because the reality is that they're the exact same beans sold under different labels!

Stipulating that your accusation is correct, I don't know that there would be NO resemblance between the picture and your finished product. Presumably if Swerve were stealing images, he's at least try to steal one that bore some resemblance to his actual plants!

FWIW, I've heard that Blue Dream S1s are not only unstable (in that they throw off a variety of phenos) but that they're also fairly hermie-prone. IIRC Matt Riot offered these a while ago and had to stop when the reports of hermies started to pile up.

In fairness, some of the reports on this in that thread are good. . .but there are a conspicuous number of bad ones, I think. You can also scroll through the thread to see some REAL pictures of the plant.

Anyone can be a "breeder" these days. Just come to Cali for a few months, get a med card, buy a few "elite" clones and colloidal silver and aloo of a sudden you're a "breeder".
