So I'm trying to decide if I want cornerstone from GGG or Blackwater from cali con... Which y'all think would be way better over all and stable?

As much bad as I have seen from Cali Conn I have seen just as much good. Gear may have hermies and all but always see fire coming out and you know it must be fire when other breeders use Cali Conn gear to make new crosses. I would go GGG just simply because Cali Conn is hit or miss and I know with GGG it won't be like that and I won't have to deal with herms. I would get both tho since they both interest you simply because they are different crosses too. If they both had same mom would be different

good luck hunting with cali con...
there are winners to be found in cali con (rare)
kgp and dvg found a winner with cc tahoe
A few years back I started with 22 seeds of Blackwater. Of the 15 females only 2 of them were the recessive purple pheno that I wanted, and one of those was stunted and weak. So, out of 22 seeds I only got 1 winner, but damn was it a winner. I've had that one going for over 3 years now and I'm hard pressed to find anything better. I have other strains that can hang with it, but it's still very popular.
i myself have a couple of cc packs... but who doesnt when they first started.... its like when newbs ask about barneys seeds...

I'd go w/ GGG, have my eye on Cornerstone as well & its not $200+ like other GGG gear smh. Grew out a few CC strains Bubba, Tahoe, & Jamaican D. The Tahoe was horrible & stretched like a haze, the Bubba was good but I ran a Bubba from Emerald Triangle & it was just as good. The Jamaican D was awesome to bad they dont make it anymore the Chem D in that cross was potent

Hell ya thx for all the feedback fellas, I'll probably go with GGG instead, I've adjust already grown CC boss hogg and king louie, they were both feminized and hermied but was still dank, I got alot of king Louie seeds from it so I'm sprouting about 47 or so.. Hopefully I'll get at least one super dank pheno.. Still.got a huge baggie of seeds to work with. And I grew out the Loud sour from pollen nation which hermied as well. Got my gear from Dank team..

My Blackwater hermies around day 20, they get plucked then again around day 60 with nanners. Nice smoke. On my 2nd run with it at day 49. I mainlined this one and am much happier with how it has produced, but I am not hanging on to the strain. I would personally try the GGG myself.

lol @Beemo . Ain't that the truth.Something about those 2 companies when people are first starting out. Hell I bought Blackwater knowing swerves rep.

I like the cali conn gear, their Tahoe og and chem 4 og are really fire so is their SFV OG, good luck.
Tahoe isn't CCS strain, neither is sfv or chem 4, all of them are clone onlies you could get without/before cc existed.

Isn't dvg using swerves cut of Tahoe? Not the crosses that cc makes with it? Seems odd to use a seed, when the cut already exists and you can get a hold of dude with it in his stable.

Here's the description of Cali Connection SFV OG.

Cali Connection - SFV OG Kush - $85.00

I recieved pollen from capt he gave me afghani#1 pollen. I then hit my sfv ogk clone . Thus creating f1's this was seriously 2 years ago. I will put an exact date when i go through the records and see. I made the f1's ran those and chose a good male and female to make f2's. I didnt have to many beans to work with so i was just hoping to get lucky and i did. I then took the clone of the male i had and grew him out and made the ogk F2 and bx1 seeds. Once i harvested the f2's i ran about 150 of them to find what i was looking for to continue the line. The sfv ogk pheno closest to the mom... I had around 50 females and 20 males to choose from. After grabbing clones and running the moms to find what i was looking for. I narrowed it down to around 10-20 ladies and i believe 1-2 males.. I then vegged the clones from the perspective mother and flowered them, these f2's were pollinated by the male i chose, creating f3's. From the f1 to the f3 i spent a solid year and a half on, it also helps having a few flowering spots to work with though, not just one spot ya know. After harvesting the f3 seeds i ran again about 200 of them this time. I like to select from large lots not 20-30-even 50 seeds. I like selection. After the start of the f3's i saw a lot of uniformity in the plants once i grabbed clones from them, i flowered them thus resulting in some serious selection and culling... Some were killer but to tall and lenghty, some where not to dank, some were really dank but didnt yeild, some were just right... I ended up with a serious stud male out of about 25 different dudes. And shit i dont even know how many ladies about 50 that were what i was looking for.. After harvest on them and smoke and features and this and that i ended up with 20 ladies that i was in love with.. I worked them down to the top 3.. Which i am flowering out with chemD and master kush to get my smoke on with as its fire dank just like mommy but from seed. hahahaha i love it... So my stud male hit the ladies making me an ass load of f4's.

And their chem4 og

Chem 4 OG - $85.00

The Chem 4 clone was found from seeds started in 2006 from the original seed stock chemdog sent joebrand. joebrand stated the seeds chem sent him and out of them there was chem 1,2,3,4. the Chem 4 is what joe brand dubbed the Reunion pheno as it reminded him most of the original dogweed from crested butte. i crossed this to my SFV OGK F4 amle in hope of bumping up the yeild on the og, and in hopes of bringing a little more citrus out of the chem4. expect large yeilds form this hybrid. Flower time will be 8 weeks

Just figured i'd put that out there for information purposes incase anyone want to know what breeding went into those strains.

It's interesting how much swerves stories have changed over the years. The chem 4 is the only one I haven't heard different about. Swerve has claimed the tahoe seeds he makes are three different bx/outcrosses I've personally heard since cc put out Tahoe and Buddha Tahoe in seed form.

So I guess it depends on how much you rely on swerve to tell the truth haha.

Yea I don't know much about stories being told but I know from personal experience that cali connection got some absolute fire strains if you are willing to pheno hunt.

Yeah I agree. My point was never that they don't have good bud in the gear, just that swerve has a reputation of being not the most honest guy ever.
