Yes I've noticed the shitty reviews about them after I bought a pack. What's the deal?
Well, I'm not really qualified for a proper answer. We haven't grown anything from CC BECAUSE of the reviews. Every once in a while there is a happy grower who was lucky with CC gear (and apparently some of their strains seem to be solid) but that wasn't worth the risk. For me they are in the same category as Greenhouse seeds and Barney's Farm. Not everything they sell is bad but too business oriented and a "lack of spirit " for cannabis.
I hope you will be one of the happy customers and write a really nice review. Perhaps my info on CC is outdated and I'm wrong anyway.

I hope it too....

Anyway, may bad things i've heard about them is the high percentage of hermies....

I was in the same situation when i bought the Reserva Privada's OG #18, there where alot of people saying that they've had only hermies problems with their gear.. but i've grown at least 25 beans of OG #18 and 40 from RP totally Always beeing happy with the results ( OG #18 has been my favorite strain for 3 years at least).

So i think that many (but not all) problems with hermies are a grower's mistake and not caused by genetics.

there are many bad habits in growing that are related to a high hermies percentage, not only light leaks:

- giving 48 hours of dark to force flowering
- high temps
- low N during veg
- overwatering during veg

There is an interesting study made on the book "The breeders bible" that tells the factors that contributes to hermaphroditism, expecially in FEM seeds

the biggest factor to hermaphroditism in fem seeds is unstable parents, same factor in regular seeds..

You might find some good plants, I found one of my favorite diesel hybrids in their purple diesel but their cookie crosses aren't legit.

I have ran their gear and it is hermie prone. At least some of it was. But I liked the sour d and Chem 91. Wish I would of cloned the 91. I also ran alien OG which was good also. But sour d and alien both had herm traits. At least some phenos. But there is good is some and it may be fixed and honestly a lot of these old clone only crosses seem to be hermies prone IMO. If you're a cash cropper it may not be worth going through. But you could find a gem.
