Calcium Peroxide - Oxygen releasing Agent

Has anyone used Calcium peroxide in your mediums?

if so, what is the ratio to be used.

also i hear it turns into lime, so can this be mixed into a medium that has lime added to it? or should one refrain from adding lime to the mix if calcium peroxide is being added?

any help would be appreciated
