Calcium Deficiency or Impatience

Richroadie

Hi,

The seed was germinated and then direct sowed on June 14th. Seems to be going well, with a lot of focus on root growth at the moment. But do those new leaves look like they have a calcium deficiency or they will eventually expand? It would be surprising to see some nutrient deficiency this early on, the soil is pure and never been used, has excellent drainage, etc.

This is a balcony grow with afternoon sun.

Thanks in advance.

I'd give it some time before worrying about deficiencies.

Sprouts often look less than perfect when they get started and that one's barely on it's way.

Good luck!

:peace:

I wouldn’t worry . Newly sprouts don’t rely on anything natural water and the right amount of lightning. I use r/o water till about day 10-12 then start feeding minor calmag to make sure it’s there . I add minor nutes around day 18-20

the sprouts are day day 7-10
The other 2 is day 23 bin using minor nutes and cal mag

this is my first indoor grow
