Ok...one LAST question...what about watering with dolomite lime?no play it simple! u have Cal Mg dont use molasses... u dont know exactly what are the ratios.
i don't google as u do! i experience my shit. i have been growing long enough to deal with most common problems a grower might face, indoor and outdoor, different mediums! so u can stuck on reading a bunch of bullshit in untrusted websites and advice people something u never experienced! cannabis plants outdoors never get foliar feeding only rain! WATER... and all nutes intake are done at the root zone. u can pretend that you know better then me but not Mother Nature. plus ur not giving him any ratios... anyways, hope he'll try ur way and burn his leaves and give us feedback. They usually don't come back after Googling and realizing I was right. If they do its certainly not to be informative...I would suggest foliar feeding calmag when the lights go off or under low lighting while watering with plain water, next watering if you see improvement you can go back to your regular schedule but feed half what you are now. Phosphorus also gets locked out with excess moisture so if you've been flushing, careful
Thats what I am seeing also. Overfed from flushing MG soil. Then pumping them full of CalMag and other nutes on top of that. Just plain water for a few weeks. And pH up/down will do nothing to alter your mediums pH. That stuff is for the hydro growers.i agree with it being overfeed most likely CalMg....
Actually, I flushed the girls I was having issues with using plain pH'd water. The problem looks like it MAY be getting better. I'm constantly chasing my pH because this MG soil with its 6 months of time released nutes!! I'll NEVER make that mistake again. I know MG is the issue because one of my girls didnt look so impressive from the jump and i pretty much wrote her off. I moved her to a different area to veg and paid no attention to her, no nutes just water. When I changed lights to 12/12 I threw her in the box with the others just for the hell of it. She is the healthiest Ive got and is producing the best, although not anything fantastic. This is pretty strong evidence, to me anyway. I'm going to play it safe and give very low nutes to finish them out. I'm terrified to spray ANYTHING on them because I've got buds all over the place.i don't google as u do! i experience my shit. i have been growing long enough to deal with most common problems a grower might face, indoor and outdoor, different mediums! so u can stuck on reading a bunch of bullshit in untrusted websites and advice people something u never experienced! cannabis plants outdoors never get foliar feeding only rain! I only use the pH up/down to adjust what I'm putting IN..I wouldn't dare try and use it to adjust my soil. I'm new but not stupid lol!!Thats what I am seeing also. Overfed from flushing MG soil. Flush your soil with high PH'd water, then get it to stabilize. Once that is done, continue watering with plain PH'd water. From there you can judge if it's too much or too little mg-CalFirst grow, 4 weeks of 12/12...feeding Cal Mag and still having problems! I thought I read somewhere that blackstrap molasses would fix the problem but can't find the thread now!!
I did the flush, but CANNOT stabilize it. This soil has 6 month time release and the shit will be harvested, dried, cured and probably smoked before it stops releasing nutes!! I'm just gonna try to baby these girls through to the end...Every single problem Ive had in this first grow stems back to my soil!! Should have done my homework first!!Not to be rude or anything, but are these test's deem'd false than? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foliar_feeding

In his defense...I gotta say...what I got from his advise was to flush, because of lockout from nutes. He just said not to use cal mag as foliar spray...Like qwizoking stated, you need to flush your medium because you have an escess in N causing it to lockout P and Mag. GanjaHome sorry to say bub but your "experience" has been skewed in some way, obviously you haven't read up much on over fertilizations causing lockouts or you wouldn't be sticking your foot in your mouth by saying qwizokong is wrong because he/she isn't wrong, in fact that was the exact thing that came to my head as soon as I saw the pic's. I just dealt with this myself. In veg you cant see the P def because the plant isn't using much of it but by the time your stretch is over in flower your leaves start getting little brown spots, then the yellowing, and finally necrosis.
Yes, I'm so VERY aware that adding nutes to the already fertilized soil is what caused my issues. But I gotta ask, how long do you keep your ladies in the pot? I started my girls mid April and expect them to finish by late August or September. By my calculations that's only about 4 1/2 months...and the amount of nitrogen being released is extremely high for veg and most def for flowering. I'm also wondering about the low Cal and Mag amounts. How do you get around that?your soil is fine melissa.
get the same soil next time and just give her ph'd water for the 6 months the bag says.
your problem was that you added nutes when there was no need to add nutes.
i use mg soil and nutes and my babies are great.
dont blame the product, if you had followed instruction then you woulda been ok.
good learning experience though!!
I'm talking about the MG soil...it has time released nutes, combined with the all purpose MG nutes...THAT is what started my problems. I've certainly learned a few lessons on this first grow...but it's very enjoyable none the lessare you talking about the bag nutes?
all i did was put my seed in soil, let it grow, give it plain water until the bottom leaves start to yellow then i start with light nutes.
i had no problems.
??
for my food it has all the plant needs except the molybdenum (Mo)
next time try cactus soil and dont feed until you see yellow leaves
just ignore the bag and feed when yellowing lol
im using "plant-prod ultimate all purpose plant food 20-20-20"
but am switching to miracle grow bloom booster for 12\12 -15-30-15
i add a tspoon of epsom salt to my water for watering and that gives it magnesium
with the calmag just do a little tiny bit at first
i dont have experience with calmag so i cant really speak
your lucky you made mistakes cause you learn from them, so next time you grow you will know what not to do
also my plants sprouted june 10th&13th
took about two weeks before i was feeding them
good luck!!
HA!! This is a learning experience....and so far I have learned NOT to grow in MG soil with time released nutes and feed nutes on top of that. I do believe that YOU, yourself suggested that I was overfeedingNo your making excuses. A lot of people use only miracle grow products including myself
