Calcium def? or Manganese maybe?

Little more info could help. What's your setup like? pH? PPms?

First guess would be Mg/Ca. Are you flowering yet? MJ plants need more of these minerals during flowering. Is it isolated to the older growth, or is this new growth? Is it appearing everywhere or in just one spot?

Spots like these could also suggest mites, although these look a little different. Check the underside of your leaves for black specs regardless, never hurts. Hope this helps, but some more info would be highly beneficial for diagnoses.

im about 5 weeks into flowering. older growth, fan leaves in the middle of the plant. no blacks specs underneath, just checked. this is my first grow, soil under 250W HPS in a 2x2 foot tent. might be the pH, i haven't been very careful about it.

Perfect, thanks. Yea, I always start with the pH. Make sure this is in line and check it. Doesn't matter how many/what nutrients you are giving your plants if you have a pH lockout. The plants simply can't absorb anything if your pH is off.

I'd start with Mg/Ca deficiency...plus I don't really think it's a bad thing to boost these levels anyway. It's hard to overdue it...obviously use caution haha but I'd add some anyway. Epsom salt is a what you need here.

With respect to FattyCaps, you should first determine the definitive problem before making any adjustments. If you have a definitive PH problem in soil, your soil is REALLY screwed up and should be the first thing addressed or you're only going to complicate matters.

Agreed. I probably should have made this a little more clear, but this is basically what I was saying. I said start with the pH, and make sure this is in line. Obviously if it's not, then you know that's where your problem lies. If not, then proceed to step two, which in my opinion, would be a Mg/Ca deficiency.

Hopefully this is a little more clear and now understood! Either way, LDS you know where to start.

alright thanks a lot for your help. i will have a look, got a pH meter arriving in the next couple of days i've been using indicator solution but i find it pretty hard to match the colour to the chart could be 6.1 or 6.9 i can't really tell must be part colour blind lol.

First of all if you dont already have one go out and buy a four way meter (ppm,ph,moisture, soil temp) they make growing so much easier. monator and control your h20 ph and try to keep it at a steady 6.5. Soil Ph should be between 6.5 and 7.0. now that your flowering you want to keep the humidity below 55% to avoide mildew and aid in co2 absorbtion. what kind of nutes do you use and how much/how often?

I do have a soil meter, but it's a cheap one and doesn't seem to be too accurate. I need to pick up a digital meter after this crop.

The Humidity has been averaging about 37%, temps 74 -82 degrees F. I've been using Alaskan Fish fert (5-1-1) for the 2nd thru 4th week from seed, since that's about the span of vegetative growth for the LowRyder 2's.
During the 4th week from seed, I use a combo of Fox Farm Big Bloom/ Alaskan Fish fert, and then I finish the last 4 weeks of flowering with Big Bloom, Snow Storm Ultra and Blackstrap Molasses. I also use Epsom Salt on weeks 2, 4, and 6 if they look deprived. On weeks 7 thru 8 and a 1\2, I just feed with blackstrap molasses for bulk and flavor.

I water about twice a week, only feeding on one of the waterings, just to give them a rest in between. Also, I only use one half to two thirds of what the labels suggest, because the lowryder strains seem to be kinda sensitive to nutes. There's 26 of em in 2 gal. grow bags under a 1000w hps with a light mover on a 20/4 light cycle.

I was using Gravity on my last round, and it works real well, but someone on here told me that it contains carcinogens, so I cut that out, just in case the guy was right. Any advice on my schedule or any recommendations on what to add/delete would be greatly appreciated. thx
