I'll let someone else answer that and give you a heads up on something else...

There are two different types of CalMg... one that's nitrate based... and one that is not.
It is very important that you get the exact one you need.... I fried my whole flower room in one feeding of the nitrate based stuff..... womp womp wooooooooomp

i did spray the plants with some monterey garden inssect spray with lights on.. dont think its burn.. ... but they had these coming on before that... plants are two week into flower... i dont check PH.. havnt since grow,i distill all water in run it thru a filter. not sure if that makes a diff... temps 65-77- burmuda kush.. fox farm soil + perlite+ plus kelp meal.. i only feed Budswell guano.

yeah... Cal deficiency is right on time for the 2nd week of flower.
just be careful which type of CalMag you use!!

I would recommend NOT using the one by Botanicare... (nitrate based)
and using something like General Organics CaMg+

yes, Epsom will give it Mg but no Ca .... Dolomite lime can give you Ca

so...epsom + dolomite lime = CaMg

BUT..the cool thing about the CaMg+ formulas...is they have trace minerals...
which shouldn't be too much of a worry for you because of the awesome soil you use.

you will want to look up the ratios... It's usually around 1tsp / gal

do you add molasses too? great for building dense buds!

I use unsulfered molasses from about week 2 of flower... but using the 'less is more' approach...
I use about 1/4 - 1/2 the recommended dosage (1tsp/gal) and am now testing the PH of the feed before I administer any food.

....but like redeye jedi said... dont just go rush and give your plants CaMg... do some research and be 100% sure before you try fixing it....

My buddy uses the Bontanicare calmag and he has very good results but the again he is a very experienced grower. I am using GO calmag+ and I like it it works well for me.

From what I've been researching...I'm wondering if the Nitrate based one is good in veg... and the other in flower, where most normal Ca deficiencies are found....

Why not use a nitrate base calmag?
I use botanicare with good results but
I am open to something possibly better like GO?

I used it to cure several plants in flower...2 in 4th wk and 1 in 7th week.
It fried them all... :(
now... I wasnt testing my PH at the time and that may have been part of it.
but I was later told that nitrate based CaMg was a big mistake for soil growers (which I'm not sure I believe)
It makes sense not to use it too heavily in flower because of the higher N. <--- just a theory, I really cant say for sure...
I'm keeping the Botanicare on hand but am going to go with GO next time my leaves show signs....

i did pick up epsom salt and molasses. should i do a spray on the ladys with epsom salt?

i did feed them on friday.. i dont think it is to do with a nut burn??? i only use budswell guano tea!

also picked up some bud candy, and gh cal mag just in case.. never to late so have things on hand!..
