Cabinet Growth Size!

Hi all,
although this question may have somewhat been answered, im a newbie and would like some more experienced growers opinion on a the size of the growth area per plant. from other threads ive seen that 1 square foot (0.3m2) is enough, but im not so sure of this, the area seems so small for apparently a good yield... i have decided to grow 3 auto's, each one's height from 50-80cm, and not bushy...(sweet dwarf, Cristal storm, 60 day wonder)..I have a wooden cabinet that measures 80cm(32inch) in height, 60cm(24inch)in width and 40cm(16inch) in depth..from height minus pot,20 cm and cfl lights 10 cm bringing me to about 50cm height, but as long as i lst i should get optimal results..what do you guys think,will such a grow space be enough for 3 plants, or should i wait for the other one and only grow 2?
-if you're pissed off cuz this is a repeated question, then please don't post hate comments i just want an experienced opinion.

i would probably go with 2 at first and see how it works and maybe think about using a ScroG method instead of lst but its up to you both methods are good scrog = screen of green instead of tieing down all the branches you just let only the buds go above the screen and the leaves stay below maximizing your space and your buds good luck with whichever you chose all i can say is research =)

Thanks, since it has been some time since I posted this, I decided to go with 2. and Scrog does look pretty interesting..

from what i've read, there is not much info on autoflower-scrogging, anyone have experience with that and does it work well with auto's? (veg state short so im not sure)

Im currently setting something very similar up, with a little more height and width, and Im looking at 2 in there.

Ive seen two fit comfortably, but three, especially if you want lighting on the side, might be a bit tight. How are you finding the two?

Haven't gotten to planting yet, but definitely 2, 3 is too much, btw you doing scrog?

No i was just going to get lowryder style plants and let them do their thing, minimum effort... But maybe...
