C99 (Female Seeds) Grow Journal

Hello everyone! Its nice to be back on rollitup again. I use to post under the name AngryProbe 5-10 years ago doing small grows. Medical just became legal here in my state so I want to give it a go again.

Specs:
2000w LED light
4x4 grow space
c99 x5
Maui Wowi x1
5 Gal smart pots
24/0 Light

I am about 3 weeks into this grow and will back document it. It will continue with updates with a minimum weekly update on progress.

Anyone can feel free to post as they like!

Day 1 - 4/1/21

I received the seeds on 12/28/20, and started germinating them immediately. Once tap root was visible I planted all in solo cups to start with. Placed them on the heat mat I ordered and underneath the light on a 24/0 Light cycle. All 6 seedlings have since broken out of their shells and through the soil in only 4 days.

6 seeds all feminized and produced by Female Seeds Co. Shout out to Female Seeds for an easy order process, quick delivery, and healthy genetics so far.20210103_153039 (1).jpg20210103_153039 (1).jpg20210102_145643 (1).jpg

Day 4 - 8/1/21

Plants are going well, looking great! Heat mat is new because old HID lights use to create so much heat, it was always a fight to keep it down. But now with the LEDs this will be a always thing! Rooting is so much quicker.20210108_114055 (3).jpg

Day 7 - 11/1/21

They were growing so fast I decided to transplant them a bit quicker then my original 2 week plan. I put them all into 5 gal smart pots, with about 4 gals of soil in each. I am planning for a 3-4 month grow so it should be a good amount.

Root balls weren't huge but definitely were big enough to make transplanting easy.20210111_112254 (1).jpg

I am really impressed by the growth speed of these little c99s. You can see in the picture they are outgrowing their maui wowi sister (bottom right of the 6).

I installed small fan to help with a bit of air flow and stem growth.20210115_090139 (1).jpg

Day 13 - 17/1/21

Growing well, and it looks like there are 2 different phenotypes at this point.

1 looks more sativa the other 5 much more indica (squat and wide).20210117_164749 (1).jpg

Day 16 - 20/1/21

I raised the light a bit, keeping about 24" of distance between top of plants and light.20210120_133201 (1).jpg20210120_133221 (1).jpg
