buying vs. growing? wat do u think is more safe?

so we all realize the possible dangers of anything that has to do with marijuana at this time no matter how small the may be...but my dad (who knows i smoke and feel that weed shuld be legalized) always tells me to never talk to someone i dont kno about buying it, and reminds me of undercover blah blah blah (personally i dont feel that the cops care too much about catching kids buying small quantities of weed off campus of colleges but thats just me lol)...so i was wondering wat wuld be more safe as far as a legal standpoint goes, buying from a dealer or growing ur own (not growing to distribute but just a few plants for urself)

wat do u guys think, is buying or growing more safe?

growing is more safe for say... a hermit. but if you are a social person then definately buying. also, (not clear on this so correct me if I'm wrong) growing has a much harsher penelty as far as a legal standpoint goes and, how could you ever prove that you wern't growing to distribute?

in most states i would imagine that buying basicaly is a position charge is a lot better then getting caught growing, witch in most cases is a growing with the intent to sell. that is if your not legal.

ya from all aspects manufacturing drugs is always more sketch than possession....

I definitly think growing it yourself is the safest way as long as you have a well secured area that you can do it in that cant be stumbled upon. Buy it off of someone brings so many different threats its not even funny. If you can keep your mouth shut and your area secure growing your own is the surest way to be safe. Now if your talking about whats the easiest way then it would certainly be buying it outright, So i guess time would be another one of those requirements

but all in allgrowing is way more cheaper then buying it.you can grow an oz indoors for $75.00 an oz..

Yaaay California! hahaha, its all safe here. If u don't have it like packaged to distribute the most they do is stomp on it. Or you can get a cannabis card for $100 and not have to worry at all

Since where i am is so freaking dry growing is alot better.

personally im goin with the majority of the people on this question and sayin growing! it is much cheaper, but not safer that really depends on person doin it, and area. purchasing like said above can get you into some crazy twists. i think they are equal consequence wise, for instance buying from a drug dealer which sometimes are not the nicest people(unless your lucky like i and get it from a single hotty that thinks is no big deal lol) and you also have chance of being watched or undercover cop and not to forget some fines. as to growing you dont deal with the bullshit of meeting and buying and all that ish but a larger law penalty. this is all opinionated, or ("im just sayin") material. well peace out and smoke one!

Agreed. As long as security is under control, i.e. nobody knows about your grow, electricity and odor is well-managed etc., growing your own brand is much safer that purchasing on the street.
