Buying seeds from Seed Banks?

I'm looking to order seeds offline using a pre paid visa card. I did some research and started to find that a lot of cards do not allow you to make purchases internationally along with some seed banks not allowing payment methods of that sorts. I'll keep this short for you guys...which websites accept pre paid cards and what type of cards are allowed to order internationally? I heard "attitude" is good for this but I'm still unsure where to find a pre paid card and which one will be good? Thanks guys I look foward to your responses!

I have ordered from The Attitude and Single Seed Center, both using a "Walmart Money Card". You buy it and then register is online or over the phone, and they will send you a card with your name on it that can be given a pin number and everything. If you don't register it I don't think you can use it Internationally.

you need to give your social up for pre paids now a days

I'm sure walmart has several different pre paids ( visa, mastercard etc.) which one will i be able to use? I have a local Walmart and would like to use one that I'm guarnteed success with an online website. Also does anyone have a list of seed banks that'll use the pre paid credit cards?

If you're goal is to buy seeds without revealing your identity, prepaid cards won't help you. "Registering" means giving up your name, address, and SS#

The master card pre paid visa cards you do not have to give any information up. As long as you have cash you get the card and your on your way.

i'm not 100% sure on this, so take it with a grain of salt as i always just use my bank's visa debit card, but from what i understand, this is true, up to the point where you want to use the card for international purchases, which requires you to register the card online, using your name and ssn like red said..

But they don't work internationally.

It's not worth the time or effort to aquire a special cc...I'd use my cc over cash or check any day...your identity is never hidden...and you're only buying seeds...

Will it be a problem when buying 50 seeds if I use my own credit card?

I honestly would like to use a pre paid credit card. It'd make me feel %100 more comfortable as I plan on grow 50 plants

Which is a felony to transport through the mail, across state borders, and international borders.

If you are concerned, buy from one of the smaller seed vendors like Dr. GreenThumb, Hemp Depot, etc, that accept cash. Problem solved!

I would like to 50 seeds without using my own credit card. I appreciate everyones response but is it posslbe to buy a pre paid and if so what type of carD?

I dont think that it is all that safe, i just wouldnt feel comfortable. Has any one else done up to 5o seeds and which website?

50 seeds is no big deal, it's only 5 packs or most regular seeds, at 10 per pack obviously..

and i still fail to see the difference on a legal front if you were to order with a bank issued cc or one from walmart tbh.. if anything were to happen, they'd get snagged in customs, and you'd get a nice keep sake letter saying that you were a bad, bad boy, and someone tried to mail you a form of contraband, and if you'd like, you can come on down to pick them up, which is obviously not suggested.. at the bottom of the letter it says no further actions will be taken..
customs will have no clue how you paid for such contraband, nor will your bank.. purchases on a credit card statement aren't itemized, it will only say you bought say $399 at attitude gifts.. they've no clue wtf you just bought, trust me, i do this often, or did when i had cash, and nothing bad ever has happened.
i've never heard one legit story of a single person getting arrested ordering seeds online, not a one..

Thank you so much, I think Im going to give my personal CC a shot tomorrow if no one comesup with a better answer to a pre paid CC. Like I said earlier I'd much rather make it undisclosed but if everyone else uses there own CC then I might just give it a try.

no problem..
just be forewarned that if you live anywhere in the midwest, and you'd think you mail might enter the us through chicago, there is a much greater chance of your order getting caught in customs as chicago has really upped it's game in the past few months, and many reports on here about confiscated orders.. east coast seems to be getting the least caught ..
if you do live in the mid west, i'd look at ordering through a canadian seed bank vs. a uk or european seed bank, as it seems that mail coming out of canada isn't loooked at nearly as hard as mail coming out of the uk, or especially the netherlands..
