Fuck that. Write him a check that's dated for when it sprouts roots lol.how much cash?
If you don’t have a good strain and need it then I would get two and root them.. what would you lose 30 dolllars if not:. And if they root and it’s really clone only then you scored???15-20$
I agree it's not a huge gamble and If you NEED the genetics why not.If you don’t have a good strain and need it then I would get two and root them.. what would you lose 30 dolllars if not:. And if they root and it’s really clone only then you scored???
Same here toss so Much away even if I had someone to give them too wouldn’t even charge them.. it’s really bad when the ones you throw away are so healthy with tons of rootsI would never sell a not rooted "clone", thats just a cutting. I give those away when I have someone to give them to . I hate how much plant material I throw out every couple weeks when I take clones and trim back my mothers. I just did it last night and it made me sad wasting tons a beautiful vegetation. Even if I rooted the extra clones I don't have anything to do with them right now. I don't know any other growers right now.
Also why is he charging for clones? Is he a good grower? How healthy is his veg? And flowers? Because if he needs to sell clones he isn’t doing something right...I agree it's not a huge gamble and If you NEED the genetics why not.
I might wonder about the scruples of the seller though. Is selling cuttings as "clones" a normal thing and I just don't see it because I don't deal with others very often?
I'm with you on this. There are cuttings, and there are clones.I agree it's not a huge gamble and If you NEED the genetics why not.

He's charging for cuttings, but I agree. Also why is he charging for clones? Is he a good grower? How healthy is his veg? And flowers? Because if he needs to sell clones he isn’t doing something right...
Honestly I totally could understand charging for elite clones. However in this day and age, no GG4 cut is elite sorry. They might be great genetics, but everyone and their cousin has it.Also why is he charging for clones? Is he a good grower? How healthy is his veg? And flowers? Second this post all the way. If you have a clean grow I would be very hesitant to bring in even growing plants. Bugs and diseases. Seeds are available.Honestly I totally could understand charging for elite clones. However in this day and age, no GG4 cut is elite sorry. I also would understand if it was a clone business. Where he was providing many clones regularly. I wouldn't want to do that for free indefinitely.
I'm extremely cautious who I get cuttings or clones from. I've heard/read to many stories about people bringing pests into their gardens. I've never had a single pest other then a few moisture gnats, an I will always try to keep it that way.
Any time I do get clones off someone I try to make sure their grow is clean if I can. I also quarantine everything new and drench it with safer soap everyday for about a week.Second this post all the way. Again I agree. A neighbor got a clone from a known grower and brought thrips home. Cost him more than he could have harvested. Powdery mildew is another common unwanted gift that can arrive with new vegetation.Any time I do get clones off someone I try to make sure their grow is clean if I can. You mean used to root clones? While we're at it, maybe link what's being used today for cloning that's user friendly and worth every penny!?
