Buying A Pipe To Take Home

Im going to florida here in a few days and theres a headshop right down the street from where im staying. I wanted to buy a pipe as a keep sake thing but idk if id be allowed to bring it back on the plane with me. I wanted to get a new glass piece but i dont wanna spend the money if the piece will just get taken away when i try to come home. Any input?

if it's clean then it's legal. it's a 'tobacco' pipe...

safest bet is UPSing it back to yourself, without using it first. I've had a few friends go down for clean glass on plane trips. and a few go down shipping bud cross country. But its perfectly legal to ship glass in a box.

just send it home in the mail make shure you fight the erge to smoke out of it till you get home

Sounds like sending it home is my best bet. Could i get fined or arrested for bringing it onto the plane clean?

In a checked bag you will be fine, in a carry-on they will see it - what they would then do I don't know.

Yea my Sis just grabbed a pipe for me from Jamaica, no problems getting it home in checked luggage.

We may see it as just a pipe but im goin with fam and my parent would be mortified if we got pulled to the side cus they saw a pipe in ny bag. I didnt think about just pocketing it. It is glass so it wouldnt set off the detectors. I think ill try that. Ill let you guys know how it goes haha thanks for the input!

Most airports now a short wave milimeter detectors which take full body scans of your body. They can see non metallic objects. I wouldn't carry it on me.

ohh so your not worried about the MAN!!! your worried about them calling you out infront of your parents......then put it in your bag because youll have to put it in the little trey thing and your parents will see...when i said put it in your pocket i did not mean smuggle it lol..........

probably claim you could break it and take over the plain,

just check the bag, alot of people dont realize this but, you can fly with your guns, just a lil paperwork and they will check your guns.

no tommy chong got in trouble cause his kid sold and shipped glassware to a state where bongs and such are illegal, they are perfectly legal anywhere else

pack it up
