Buying a grow tent

I'm going to buy a grow tent soon. do u think it would be best to buy a complete grow tent package. comes with soil, nutes Everything u need to start growing. do u think that would be best for a noob like me. or should I peice together my own. I'm thinking about getting the 600 watt complete kit from htg supply Opinions advice please.

i don't know. just use your walk-in closet instead.

the question is how much money do you want to spend? if money isn't an issue then just buy the best of the best, obviously. personally i would go with organic soil and nutes, easier and healthier.

m3d is right. How much money do you want to spend? I have just finished doing a ton of research and can offer advice on almost anything for soil related products. I bought most of my stuff separate. If you can find the right places that give free shipping that is a little bit cheaper of an option.

I pieced mine together from all over but its been a while. Haven't Iooked at prices lately, but if you shop around enough you can usually save a few bucks. If cash isn't an issue then everything in one order would be the way to go.

The package is 596.95 but 700 or 800 is the most I want to spend on it right now.

You can get a bit more for your 700$ if you piece it all together rather than buying a kit. Now if you want easy and fast then go with that. If not check out my sig and what I just started. A simple good search for those items I have listed will take you to where you need to be. i can even put together some links for you if you would like. I have pretty much bought all I needed up to this point for $600. And its definitely more than what that HTG kit comes with. Dont get me wrong HTG is great and a pleasure to do business with, but im looking at it from a growers prospective: spend a bit more time, piece it together= come out on top!

I bought everything separate off eBay and it was cheaper then the hole tent package

I always buy separate either at a garden store(lowes, home depot), online(amazon,ebay) or since I live in Colorado, we have Hydro stores and grow stores... Best bet is to buy separate. More bang for the buck....

Personally I would package your own kit to suit your needs.

The best advice I think I can give as a relative noob myself is to keep it as simple as possible.

Don't be afraid to do a little bit of topping / fim and lst, I'm stoked with how my first lst is going at the moment.

All personal preference, but i do agree... but I love to keep things easy as possible, especially when I did first start out....
