Butter tubs for net pots???

Could you possibly use a large 6" butter tub for a net pot by drilling umpteen 1/8 holes around the sides and bottom?

I'm attempting as much resoursefullness as possible to do a DWC~ the hydro shop down the street is a rip off!!!! 1 buck for a 6" net pot....why not just drill a chitload of holes in some butter dishes!

Scavenged standard 2 way sockets for
two 85 watt cfl
havent aquired the pumps/airstones/nutes/ppm meter-ph meter, but I'm making another shot in the am....(going to goodwill/salvation army in the am, scouting everywhere to get this started for under 100 bucks...seeds materials and all!
on the right track here? Got my seed in today and just chomping at the bit till the lights get here from amazon.......

Where did you find the 150 HPS for so cheap?

sounds like you are on the way to gettin things done. Just make sure you sterilize everything very well.
