At the beginning of spring I had set up a 10x12 greenhouse for the wife. One day while hanging out and burning one I found 3 seeds in a bag of Blue Magoo that I got from the dispensary. I set them in a spot I figured would be safe as I did not want to pop them yet. Well jump ahead a month or so... I head out to the greenhouse to water plants and feed fish and low and behold... There are 3 pot plants about an inch tall in small pots. ARGGGGG!!! I was not ready to add more to the indoor grow!!!!
At this point I am committed because I want this strain! Let the vegging begin!!!! This is my first outdoor grow after a 25 year break!!

8/1 Here they are with some veg time. The one in the black pot I gave to a friend who just smiles when I ask how it is doing!

Here is 8/3..

My wife said they where taking up too much room in HER greenhouse so They got moved to my shed.

The roof of the shed is open for sunshine...

I noticed they had slowed down on growth so I pulled them out of the pots...

This is a 5 gallon clump.

This is a 3 gallon clump.

At this point I feel it is best to put them in the ground. My shed is 10x20 and has a dirt floor.

The tall one.

The short one... Snapped below the cola!!!

I guess I should have gave them support sooner! I am going to check the inside girls then head out and make some cages............:wall:

Thanks for stopping by Doublejj...

I am sure they will be fine! It was just a terrible way to start the day... today is day 38.

After taking care of the girls inside I headed out to check out the damage closer. The tall plant will be fine. I went a little to long between watering and she softened up. I set up a cage for both that will support the lower branches. I used fishing line to support a ring just below the top of the tall plant that I can hang the upper branches from.

The short plant got beat up! The wind had been blowing and blew a plastic tarp onto the plant breaking the stem just below the cola. I tied it to a pole and it looks good but the location that broke is already turning black so time will tell....

Went out this morning to open the roof of the shed and check the girls... So far so good. The black section of stem on the short plant has not changed and has stiffened up. However it is 37 degrees this morning and snow has been falling in the hills around me already... Next year I will plan on finishing in September instead of October. Stay warm... Stay warm....

Got up this morning knowing it was cold outside. Headed out to open up for the day and check the girls out.

BRRRRRRR.......

Here is a shot of the black spot where the stem snapped on the short girl.. The wire tie was added after the damage was done.

This cold weather is going to stress me out. It should not be here until the middle of October :cuss:

This is going to be interesting.... I have read that the girls can handle temps down to around 28 degrees. Today is day 41 I believe and I have no idea how long they will need to go. Supposedly they are Blue Magoo but they are from seed so who knows what was in the room where the original plant came from.

It is frosty in the garden  and frosty in the shed :-P

The tall girl..

The short girl.. I might have PM starting on her. You can see it on a leaf that hangs out of the left of the flower. I need to get a better look after the sun gets higher in the sky.

Thanks for the rep Xub...

Most of the time I break them on accident due to me shaking badly at times. This break was not my fault.. LOL!!

It amazes me how resilient these plants are. It is raining this morning and I forgot to check that spot of PM..... I had better get on it!!

I will have to give that a try. After closer inspection I do have PM

I knew it was coming, I have already hosed them down with Greencure. It was raining yesterday and the short plant got real wet. I put a fan in there to move some air and dry the girls. I am thinking about picking up a roll of clear visqueen to cover the roof opening so light can still get in and the rain won't.

Man I love Learning along the way!!!!! :peace:

It has Been windy today so I figured I had better go see how things are in the shed, plus it was time to water. It's a good thing I did because 3 branches had snapped and were hanging. I tied them up to the cage and snapped a couple of pics of the top of the tall plant. I believe today is day 44....

Well There is no need to worry about PM, bugs or well.................

I got out of bed this morning and noticed the deck was frosty. I grabbed a meat thermometer and tossed it on the table out back on the deck.

20131003_063938.jpg

Yep!!! 25.9 degrees.....

Here is what the thermometer in the shed said...

20131003_065536.jpg

The girls look terrible. The sugar leafs are looking darker on the edges and I worry that they will start to rot. My veggy garden is turning black fast due to being froze...

The trichomes looked cloudy yesterday. Today they don't look good at all and almost look like they are receding. Time to grab the brown bags and chop them up!!!

Well the chop has been done and they are hanging in my veg room. I believe today is day 46 of flower so way ahead of time
