butane goo

For a few months, my old cannabis club had installed a bar in the lounge, where you could buy weed and other extracts on a per hit basis. It was basically Amsterdam in my neighborhood...and they had Scrabble matches every Sunday...great place...I guess that is why the DEA shut it down.

At this bar they had something that they called a concentrate, but if you bought a concentrate at the dispensary (where you buy larger, to-go orders of smoke) you got something different. You got this thick chunk of hard hash, but at the bar, it was this syrupy slime that they would dip on hot charcoal, or roll on the paper making the most lovely joints in the universe. I've heard of people talk of "honey oil" but there is a grade of hash called honey oil, which is not the same magical goo I smoked at this club. I smoke pot every day, and have for...jesus, I don't wanna say, but well over a decade...anyhow, it got me very high, and now that I am growing, I'd love to know how to make it.
Honestly, Growing up in Pennsyltucky, I had never encountered this resinous oil before, and when I asked the Hashtender how they made this stuff, they would all laugh and say they wish they knew...
Anybody know what I'm talking about? Drop it on the charcoal, dripy, not chunky like hash?
