For real. I hate ignorence like that.
All the people i met whislt travelling were everyday folk , i lived in china for 6 months , they hate the us. They love iraqis. Go figure.
As soon as i told them i wasnt a yank the smile on thier face could light up a room. Just a repurcussion from governmental policies and being lied to everyday and told that everyone loves america.
Ive seen CNN and some of the shit they have on that channel is absurd " 3 marines die today in horrible attack by insurgents"
Whislt on our channels we get, " 3 marines are killed when they launch an unprovoked attack on wedding goers in baghdad, 20 civilians die"

That's why we always have the bad ass body guards (packing) with us at all times. All the rich people have drivers/body guards in those countries. That's just a fact of life. One guy always stays with the car so it doesn't get stolen. The other body guard hangs with the guests. No big deal.
If you need to work at some of those places for an extended period of time, you purchase ransom insurance. If you get kidnapped the insurance company hands over the cash. Happens all the time. Sad but true.

Yeah invasion of privacy for one. Land lords have to give 48 hrs notice You might just have a law suit on your hands. Sue that ho. Say you make hemp jewlery on the side. But i would call a few lawyers.everything I say here is false i would never think about growing marijuana im just here to look cool.

My 2 cents.... You will have to deal with this as it is 2 seperate cases.
1st case is with the police, entering your home illegally with out a search warrant. first off they cannot get a search warrant on hear say, even with the pictures provided by your landlord which they knew were taken illegally. In order to get a search warrant the officer needs probable cause, meaning he himself would have to suspect somthing. The notification of the police by your landloard has nothing to do with the case.
2nd case is with your landlord obviously. I know in some places, by law they must give you a 24hour notice prior to entering your home, occupied or not. The facts are that she first knocked.... juggles the door knob then enters proves she was making sure you were not home before entering, it sounds pretty bad for her case, you can have a lawsuit if you pursue, she will also lose her job and possibly evicted if she lives in the apartments. If you do go get yourself a good lawayer you may come out ahead on the landlord case, but it will cost you on the police case.... its a catch 22.... Just cough up the cash and get a good lawyer.

One hopes that the lawyer would possibly be able to get the other court costs paid for by the lawsuit against your apartments, but in all reality its doubtful. No matter you should always talk to a lawyer, shit most have a free 30 minute consultation. Atleast he will tell you your options.

BTW, you're message would be far more palpable and reach more people if you tried using a little more tact. I've spent time in New Zealand. I like to think I don't live in a vacuum devoid of international opinion. And I understand the difference between "The United States of America" and "the American people". So I can appreciate some of what your saying. But you're coming off too strong as some kind of authority on the US's image around the world. Certainly, someone with the deft sensitivity needed to assess such a thing without interjecting their OWN opinion would (or at least should--for the sake of their own credibility) communicate these ideas differently.
